Oh that’s shite, @StatisticallyChallenged.

I knew where yiure coming from: my GP told me my infected gallbladder was “either anxiety or a very rare tumour” 😱

Hope you get it sorted soon

WaxOnFeckOff · 15/11/2020 23:41

Rubbish all round ladettes.

StatisticallyChallenged · 15/11/2020 23:45

What a fucknugget!

I'm basically one of the unlucky bastards who gets their stone laden gallbladder whipped out, then still gets what feels exactly like gallstone attacks.

Anyone who thinks those pains are imagination needs to get their own head examined - as you'll know!

RaspberryCoulis · 16/11/2020 08:03

DH is SAS

I scanned the thread without reading the whole thing and thought @WaxOnFeckOff was doing one of those "Well my DH is senior in the military and is gearing up for deploying at Home Bargains in Bellshill" type threads.

Disappointed.

WouldBeGood · 16/11/2020 08:18

@RaspberryCoulis 😂

ssd · 16/11/2020 08:56

I thought SAS was military too, can't figure anything else out

ssd · 16/11/2020 08:56

But I am a bit dim

WaxOnFeckOff · 16/11/2020 08:57

Sas, Scottish ambulance service.

Iwillneverbesatisfied · 16/11/2020 08:59

Well my union have said we (public sector) are working from home til at least next Christmas, then it will be blended working after that. The vaccine, if one works, will still not change the home working revolution.

RaspberryCoulis · 16/11/2020 09:07

Oh you spoilsport. Are you not going to tell us it's all secret squirrel and he's deploying to an unnamed supermarket then?
Iwillneverbesatisfied · 16/11/2020 09:11

Just to say, my cousin works for the SAS - Scottish Ambulance Service. It does get called that.

WaxOnFeckOff · 16/11/2020 09:13

I've got so used to it now I'd forgotten the was another SAS. Sorry to disappoint. I could get him to mount a raid on the RVS cafe if that's any use?

Matilda2013 · 16/11/2020 10:45

Does anyone know if level 4 means no international travel? Optimistically booked a holiday for mid-December months ago and just wondering if it will automatically be cancelled if we go to 4.

dementedpixie · 16/11/2020 10:50

www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-guidance-on-travel-and-transport/

This is all it says about travel

dementedpixie · 16/11/2020 10:50

And then it will depend on rules/guidance for your destination country

Christmasbiscuit · 16/11/2020 10:57

Haven't commented on the thread before. Does everyone think tier 4 will definitely be announced tomorrow then?

Matilda2013 · 16/11/2020 10:58

Yeah that's what I thought Hmm hoping it gets cancelled. I can still go at the moment just need to arrange a COVID test prior.

rookiemere · 16/11/2020 11:08

International travel is a real loophole. I was ever so tempted to take a long solo weekend to Tenerife before the covid test restrictions kicked in on Nov 14 but the consequences of any issues- say someone on the plane out tested positive - whilst unlikely, were too high for me.

Matilda2013 · 16/11/2020 11:12

I really can't understand being able to go abroad in tier 4. So now I'm fingers crossed either we ban it or tenerife goes back on the quarantine list as their numbers are creeping back up I think.

littlbrowndog · 16/11/2020 11:18

Tenerife. Omg that sounds so lovely

Dreaming dreaming for next year

ssd · 16/11/2020 11:38

It does sound lovely

I can't remember what being relaxed felt like

anon444877 · 16/11/2020 11:54

If you get the covid vaccine, (there are trials in Dundee at the minute), presumably that means you can't catch and pass on covid.

Shouldn't that then earn you an exemption from restrictions?

Bytheloch · 16/11/2020 12:35

Almost reaching the limit on this thread- are we creating another, just in time for tomorrow’s announcement? How about Tiers For Fears? Or should that read,
Fears for Tiers? Sad

Bytheloch · 16/11/2020 12:40

Hope that you have friends doing it too, or you’d be inviting yourself into your own house and garden. Can see benefits though- you may be trusted to order a glass of wine with your meal? Or just to be able to sit at the hairdressers without a face mask on- that would be bliss! (Still couldn’t hug anyone unless they’d had vaccine tooSad)
anon444877 · 16/11/2020 12:42

I like fears for tiers! It'd incentivise vaccination if there were extra freedoms involved...
