good

norksinmywaistband · 05/11/2009 20:52

Well kids settled, and my worst fears were not realised, neither of them asked about Daddy.

I now feel exhausted, am shaking and shivering

Ds is much better and back nearly to his old self - if a grumpy one.

House seems very empty, this is the first time noone has been with me in the evening for nearly 2 months.

Keep going in to see DC, they remind me unconciously of why I ned to be strong and pull through this

get a glass of wine and a blanket

you are not getting poorly too, are you ?

norksinmywaistband · 05/11/2009 20:58

I hope not - really could do without that.

Already have wine

Now have blanket

DD is so bright and perceptive - she has been very very good today, so obviously knows something is up, also very unusual of her not to question when things change.

DS is a typical boy, physical and comical - So pleased bits of him are shining through again even if he is not quite there yet

The road ahead will be long and hard but every time you waiver a bit just think of those 2 little kiddies who will bring so much joy and laughter into your life. Much more than knobhead ever could..

Kids are a blessing for so many reasons.
keep your chin up Norks tonight will be your hardest (the first)--thing will get better.

Rememebr with MH you are never alone

AnyFuckerForSomeParkin · 05/11/2009 21:33

OP posts:
norksinmywaistband · 05/11/2009 21:41

now they are deflated balloons and have to be poured into a bra

my 14 yo dd fills her bra better than I do

Overtiredmum · 05/11/2009 21:56

Your children are beautiful Norks and they will help you get through this.

Stay strong. [Hugs]

OTM x

LoulouCapone · 05/11/2009 22:23

Norks the picture of you and your DCs is beautiful - you look like a perfect unit. I hope you have it somewhere framed in RL.

I'm sorry to hear of the awful time you're having - but if it is any consolation - and I know it won't seem like it now - but there really is only one way to go from here, and that's up.

One day you'll look back at this and be glad you got away, not sad for what you "lost" - all of you deserve better. In the meantime there's MN, we're all here to support you and think of ways to get revenge.

Doha · 05/11/2009 22:48

One day your not so DH will waken up and realise what a prize prick he has been and what he has thrown away. Too bad-- his loss will be without some other guys gain
You are lovely so are your DC's.

StirlingSwooshBang · 05/11/2009 23:06

Norks - You and your dc look lovely x

norksinmywaistband · 06/11/2009 00:01

Thanks, I have been having a long phone conversation with him. well I say conversation more of a spanish inquistion on my part.

I got all my unanswered questions out and can now let it lie and move on.

I doubt I got truthful answers to everything but that doesn't matter they were things I needed to get off my chest.

I have also arranged when he is next seeing the Dc and specified how pick up will be at the door.

I have told him in no uncertain terms that I will be seeing a solicitor within the week and putting the wheels in motion for a divorce.

I know it might seem a bit quick to be doing that but I have lived with this for 9 months and I need to do it and set the wheels in motion before he gets a chance to fuck with my head again.
