We went away no long ago , had a kinda random evening/night time shoot on the beach. The pictures were fine and have them in a book but would like couple for our bedroom and maybe another book or portfolio for us to look through together

You really want to put up heavily edited, intimate photos on your bedroom wall???

Why do you assume heavily edited its more about light and shade, at least thats what my photos are about

How about him in lingerie and you in smart casual wear. He could have the spruce up to look his best whilst you relax into the experience. How sexy is that? Maybe he deserves some body confidence too!

Ii would not stop him if he wanted a stylist

It may not be advisable to do this if you have BDD. If you are receiving treatment, work on the therapeutic advice and take the prescribed medicine. There isn't a simple answer. Discuss any such plans with your doctor. Good luck 🤞

How on earth do you ‘recover intimacy’ with a photographer there? What is it about this that you think will help? Is it that you are putting more effort into how you look / dress (undress?) for the photo? Is it actually having the third person there?

It smacks of voyeurism to me, he’ll be wanting a threesome next.
I can’t imagine anything less sexy or a turn on.

Do you want to share a link to the kind of thing you mean?

Exactly why I never went into. How can I stand there trying to make people feel good about their self when i dont feel good about myself. Ive had cbt for it and sadly cbt isnt for me. I now work in care so bit of a difference to what I wanted to do growing up

Marroon · 31/07/2026 19:27

Realistically if you’re having to “rekindle” a relatively short term relationship, no marriage and no children, why bother??

It's a shame CBT didn't work. Perhaps go back to the GP, there are things you can do. It's tough, though.

Ibi · 04/08/2026 23:27

Oh come off it, surely we all have photos like these that we plaster on the walls and show the neighbours? I like to flick through our intimate coffee table book every morning and evening, it’s especially popular when the door to door salespeople, JW, gas engineers, local canvassing team pop in. We all have a cup of tea (coffee for the friskier ones), and admire the exquisite scenery of the Leicester Travelodge.

montysmaw · 05/08/2026 01:09

Just the thought of suggesting this to my husband is making me laugh.
Imagining him actually doing a photo shoot......I can't breathe😂😂
