Am i losing my mind?

I've just had a really horrible shock. My dp and father of my dc had a female friend over in his den/office, has a TV, sofa, guest bed etc in. I've just watched him in lying bed reach out for her and she sat on the bed while he pulled her to him hugging him. Am I in a parallel universe or is that a really weird and inappropriate thing to do?

All sounds a bit weird.. why's he lying in bed? Was she leaving and it was a hug goodbye and he couldn't be bothered to get up? Why was she visiting him in his man shed rather than the house?

I have no idea, hes working from home so no idea why he was lying in bed when there's a perfectly good sofa to sit on

How long had she been in there? Did you just see that moment? Did she leave straight after? Did he know you could see? If it was dodgy I'd assume they'd kiss as well as hug...

How did she get into the house without you seeing her? How did you watch him in bed without him seeing you?

Yes, we've got new cameras and I was messing about with the settings. One side of that room is a glass wall thing

To answer some other questions, he didn't know I'd got home, I'd been out but I did know she was coming over. No he doesn't know I've seen. They were both dressed but wtf would you lied in or on a bed with a man with a partner and think that's OK?! And him doing it obviously, I can't work out wtf he thinks thats ok

So they ended up basically cuddling on the bed?

Yeah I'm fairly chill about my husband having female friends but I'd not be impressed by this.

I think that action shows a level of intimacy far beyond friends! Also why wouldn't they just be in the living room / kitchen - why be in bed? Odd.

Presumably he still doesn't know you are home - so i’d keep watching. And maybe record on my phone. So he can’t deny later.

I would never hug anyone in bed except my dc

Erm obviously this isn't appropriate, I wouldn't be sat writing a thread on here I'd be going and asking wtf my husband was doing cuddling in bed with another woman!!

Surely there's a massive back story as to why you have cameras in your house in the first place?

And why when you got home you chose to check the room they were in together as opposed to just going in and saying hi?

I'd not say anything yet, but maybe keep an eye on him. Check his phone and emails if you can. You'll need something very concrete to get him to admit it.

No, just normal security cameras around the house like verisure. I didn't check the room they were in, as I've said, they're new and I was playing with the settings connecting it to my phone

I wouldn't go in and interrupt as he was working like I wouldn't do that any other day

I'm just in shock at the moment and needed a sense check before going in all guns blazing
