How often do you have sex?

Nosey Nelly over here but just genuinely curious how often you have sex if you are in a committed relationship?

We go through peaks and lows depending on the time of the month and I was curious how it fluctuates for other couples.

We spend half our week together, and ever second weekend. We have sex at least daily.

Every day bar the week before my period, then I just like to be left alone! Normal business resumes once my period is over 😂

Every day. Sometimes twice.

Once a week, sometimes twice. DH works away all week, only home 2 nights and usually knackered the first night.
Before this it varied between twice a week and once a fortnight. So no probably averaged out about the same.

1-2 a month

@Rockiepride the week before my period I am absolutely vicious. I'm not apposed to doing it when I'm on but I'm usually heavy so 9/10 would say no if he tried. So that rules out 2 weeks of the month sadly!

We average once a month, for various reasons. I try to focus more on emotional intimacy so that when we do get round to it it's explosive 😁

Couple of times a week. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Rarely more than once a day. Would have sex 2x a day if he could. I have a stupidly high sex drive.

Never had period sex. Wouldn't be opposed to trying but he treats me like I have leprosy when I'm on! Blood and fluids freak him out. Which is fair enough.

Don’t have periods due to contraception so this is consistent month round.

It really depends. We can go 10 days sans, and then have a weekend where its 3 times.

@ManticThais is that a situation you're happy with? How is the rest of your relationship other than the sexual side? Good enough for you to want to stick around or are you not in a position to leave etc?

A couple of times a week at the moment, more would be ideal but we have v busy lives right now and a disabled child. We’re in our mid 30s, been together for 19 years.

When we do it though, it’s always incredible and just as passionate as it ever was. In fact, we did it yesterday and we are both still absolutely knackered today, it was rather long and energetic 😅 but, we will spend the evening cuddled up with a blanket, a pizza and a film, giggling at how we can still tire each other out.

There is always a lot of kissing, cuddling and flirting too every single day which is so important.

Probably 4 times a month; works for us and we are both happy with it. Lots of cuddling, kisses, hugging etc. We are two women if that makes a difference so twice the amount of hormonal mess to deal with 🤣.
