what have I experienced?

I think they've long, long since given up on that. Now, they'll settle for humbled, chastened women meekly accepting their correction.

Except a) they're wrong and b) we're laughing!

Honestly, can you believe some of the pomposity? They must have learned it at the same place as my dad.
