My husband went to play darts last night as he does every Wednesday. I’ve woken up at 4.30am and he isn’t home!!!
I’ve tried calling him and WhatsApping him- no answer and no reply. He hasn’t read my messages.
his darts team are his old work mates who I have no contact information for.
im worried sick. What do I do!? Do I call the police? Do I call hospitals !? Help, I feel sick

Any news? Hope he’s safe and well

EveryOtherNameTaken · 07/09/2023 07:21

Maybe go to the darts place and see if your car is in the car park. Maybe he drank and crashed at someone else's.

Thinking of you OP.

Kate8889 · 07/09/2023 07:22

Not very helpful WP...even if he was cheating, I'd hope he wouldn't want police resources wasted if he's ok?

FannyFifer · 07/09/2023 07:22

I hope he has turned up.

BitOutOfPractice · 07/09/2023 07:22

That’s a good idea @EveryOtherNameTaken

i hope he’s safe and well and home Now op.

Jesus, stop twisting the knife... that's your second post in five minutes suggesting the same. Yes, it's a possibility, but how about some support?

Ispiltmytea · 07/09/2023 07:25

Gosh I hope all is ok. You must be worried sick.

PegasusReturns · 07/09/2023 07:25

Have you checked he’s not outside in the car. The one occasion that I “didn’t come home” I had in fact returned but had forgotten my keys. I was unable to wake DH and my phone died so I ended up sleeping in the car.

hope he turns up soon

I dont want to derail the thread (sorry I know I am) but I'd be very interested to find out where this is on the MN android app

(AFAIK there isn't that facility on Android. It's stupidly useless)

OP I hooe he turns up OK and you can get to work.

If he is OK read him the riot act and don't let him drive your car again.

Tonightsthenight91 · 07/09/2023 07:26

So scary Op. hoping he’s turned up for you now. If not take the day off work and starting tracing

fancyfrogs · 07/09/2023 07:27

Hope he's home now OP and can explain what happened. Ignore the people trying to make this worse for you. I'd be worried too

Blueeyedmale · 07/09/2023 07:27

I hope he comes home safe many years ago i went missing for 3 days due to mental health, I won't go into what happened because I want their to be some positivity for you,it must be a worrying time for you I've got to go to work now but I will keep checking for updates on my break let us know and in the meantime there is lot of support out there reach out to one of the ladies here if you are struggling

I've switched to Android and no longer have the 'see OP's' posts button

Daniki · 07/09/2023 07:32

Fuck off and go and do something useful with your day - the OP is worried and doesn’t need useless input like this.

OP, I hope he turns up safe and well.
Last time I had similar was many years ago; I was out with some school friends and my drink got spiked ‘as a laugh’ by one of them.
Woke up on a friend’s sofa the next day unharmed (but very cross) and all was well.

Did report the person who did it to the police, who had the audacity to moan when he was questioned by them - he’s not a friend anymore!

Harrysutton · 07/09/2023 07:33

Hope he’s turned up OP.

Gazelda · 07/09/2023 07:33

Can you call work and advise them that a family emergency means that you'll be a bit late for work? Then go to the darts venue to see if your car is there.

I hope he turns up fit and well very soon, looking sheepish after a night on his mates couch.

CozyCamper · 07/09/2023 07:34

I'm Android and have it

Husband hasn’t come home!
hollyblueivy · 07/09/2023 07:35

Are there any most likely explanations- if he took the car does that mean he wasn't drinking?

Could he have decided to drink and then get a hotel?

Do you have access to his bank and can you see any transactions?

CozyCamper · 07/09/2023 07:36

Ah that said I don't use an app. Didn't even know there was one. I've used the website for years

PointyMcguire · 07/09/2023 07:36

Grown man or not, I’d be extremely worried if this was DH as it’d be so out of character. @Worried00 I really hope he turns up soon with a logical explanation and you’re able to get on with your day. If not please don’t be afraid to speak to your boss about taking the day off. I’m a manager and would absolutely not want any of my team at work stressing about a missing partner.

Ladybug14 · 07/09/2023 07:14

Thanks Ella. I don't see that screen

I'll start my own thread

Sorry OP, still sending you positive thoughts

It isn't available on Android phones, you're correct.

PickledPurplePickle · 07/09/2023 07:37

I hope he is home now but if not get the children to school, then call his work and see if he's turned up, if not contact 101
