Work wife. Is this cheating?

My husband told me he had a work wife a few months back. All happy and open about it so I didn't mind at all. The other day he confessed that although nothing happened between them he told her that if we weren't married then he would be with her. Is this cheating? Not sure how I feel right now.

It sounds like the Hr woman has left and is thanking your husband for his help. The fact she sent it to your home suggests she doesn’t want work to see it. If something was going on then she would have surely wanted to keep it more private. How did your husband react to it?

@Jenny2347 You’ve explained how you feel to him and hopefully he will not have contact with her if it upsets you.
It’s strange he’s told her it’s caused problems, he could have thanked her and just left it at that.
He’s either told her where he lives or she’s found the info but hopefully there’s nothing more to it. Her message didn’t sound too bad, it just seems like she’s grateful for the support over the last little while.
