The statistics suggest that it actually increases even more when England win.

Is it only in England that there is domestic violence based around a football match? I’m curious to know that if Italy lose is there a corresponding figure like that around domestic violence in Italy.

I haven't found anything about Italy and sport but the UN database says that the lifetime risk of domestic violence in Italy is 19% vs 29% in the UK.

38% is huge, if women committed violence against men by that sort of increase around a sporting event, we certainly wouldn’t be encouraged to get pissed and have some care free fun.
