Anyone convicted of DV should have a lifetime ban from all football events. No stadiums, no pubs with big screens. Same goes for other thug behaviour. The organisers and teams need to call them out on their behaviour. It will continue as long as it is seen as just being one of the lads or getting a bit overexcited.

@EddyF my ex would take it out on me if they lost, and if they won he would take it out on me because I wasn’t as pleased as he was..no matter how much I pretended.
He may have been drinking but that wasn’t the reason for his violence, at the end of the day he did it because he could, and the football score was another excuse
