The Rules:

Any relationship you have that could get ruined by having a conversation about your feelings, standards and/or expectations wasn't really stable enough to begin with 13. The things you choose to ignore/ tolerate now are the reasons you will break up in the future 14. OLD can get very time consuming. Keep doing other activities you enjoy.

Optional: Please give your irons (potential dates you are talking to) nicknames like Mr Scottish. Initials are allowed (Mr S) when you are an item.

@Shayelle2009 no more messages today but he said he isn't one for messaging lots. I might message tomorrow to wish him luck with his cricket match though.

People can come across so differently with messaging to how they actually are in person. A few people I’ve met send warm friendly messages then you meet them in person (such as yesterday’s specimen) and they’re actually completely cold. I am completely unattracted to cold eyes and a cold face!!

Even though we’re coming out of the pandemic I guess more people are used to them - a request won’t be taken as “weird”

Might save a lot of time in advance before meeting.

@Eesha he messaged yesterday morning but before we met he said he wasn't one for messaging lots before meeting as things could be misconstrued. I took that literally and haven't been messaging, so maybe I'm also giving off the uninterested vibe. I have sent him one this morning though.

@Isitreallyme77 i don't think you are seeming uninterested if you said you'd be buying the next round. Surely he should be suggesting a next date properly hence i think keep your options open.

Do people get matches on tinder and bumble that they swear they never swiped in themselves? Making me question myself!

I was supposed to have a date tonight , 2nd with Mr Close, but he couldn’t get a babysitter. Now he’s said she can go to grandma’s after all - but I’m not feeling it now. I’ve been out doing the gardening , all hot and achey - I need mental time to prepare !
