Continuing from other thread.

I have recieved an email from womens aid lady. She said she thinks it's definitely abuse. She will ring me later to arrange a meet up to discuss options. I've told her I want to leave. She said she will help me.

You are bound to feel that way Chicken. Of course you are. You were conflicted before you left.

You will go through all of the stages of grief - denial, anger, sadness, guilt. But you will come out the other end. Stronger. And happier. It might not seem like that just yet but it’s very early days. You will feel fairly confused for a while.

How are the children doing?

KittyKattyKate · 17/01/2021 09:12

It’s perfectly normal to feel conflicted and unsure, Chicken. Your entire life has changed in the course of a day. Please stick with it - as soon as you have built a new daily routine for you and the kids it will all become much easier and joyful. The first few days are always the hardest. It’s like starting a new school when you are a kid.

Just focus on when you have your own place and everyone is warm and settled. You have done the right thing for yourself and the kids and I am in awe of your strength. You can do this ... please just give the authorities and social care system a fair chance to help you now.

How have things gone today @Chickencuddle?

EmilyG1989 · 18/01/2021 12:27

@Chickencuddle I know this isn't your priority right now but we're here for you. I hope the people at the refuge are proving helpful to you and the DCs are ok 😘

Lifeisforalimitedperiodonly · 18/01/2021 19:41

Hope you can pop in and let us know you’re okay Chicken.

JarvisCockersLeftEyebrow · 18/01/2021 23:21

Chicken I really hope that you are safe. I’m so worried about you and I’m sure others feel similar. Please let us know that you are okay

timeisnotaline · 18/01/2021 23:32

There must be so many feelings to come out. You don’t have to contradict your dh to the dc or protect them from his controlling and blaming them and pettiness anymore, you can support and encourage them to be themselves now.

Catmaiden · 18/01/2021 23:38

Really hope you are all still at the refuge and are doing ok, @Chickencuddle.

SoulofanAggron · 19/01/2021 00:54

Chicken please don’t be afraid to let us know if you went back. We are still here to support you. Nobody will judge you. We know how hard it is.

I think I read the average woman tries seven times to leave an abusive relationship.

Fartintheloft · 19/01/2021 16:33

Ditto the above messages. Please don’t feel like you have to stop posting if you have gone back. We are all here to support you and your decisions Flowers

GoldfishParade · 19/01/2021 16:45

Another one coming on to say that there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of if you have gone back. It happens all the time. Don't cut yourself off from the women on here who support you. We are on your side. Hope that wherever you are you are feeling okay 🌺

JarvisCockersLeftEyebrow · 19/01/2021 16:46

Absolutely agree. No shame whatsoever, it is so difficult Flowers

billy1966 · 19/01/2021 16:59

Pennydrop · 19/01/2021 17:17

Hoping you’re ok... no one here to judge. Just being along side. 💐

VettiyaIruken · 19/01/2021 17:17

I'm so so pleased you are out. This is the best thing you could ever do for you and for your children. It will be hard but when you wobble, remember that he talked about your "juices" in front of your child and told her a very inappropriate thing. As well as repeatedly sexually assaulting you with them in the room and trying to rape you with them there too. Asleep isn't a permanent state for a start.

It's chilling that he feels he owns your body and has the absolute right to access it at any time.

Go back through your thread and highlight every time he has made inappropriate comments or touches or has assaulted you when the children are in the room and you'll see you listed an absolute fuckton! That's such an awful life for you. You don't deserve that! Also, if all the examples you gave dont clearly show you the children are being exposed to sexual behaviour then nothing will!

Add to that that he is fucking horrible to all of you!

I think your bar is set so low that it's 10ft below ground. Because of all you've suffered in your life, what to people reading is clearly horrific, seems to you like pretty ok really.

It's not. It is damaging, dangerous and it's fantastic you got out and I'm in awe of the bravery it took for you to get there, given everything. Exposing children to sexual behaviour is something social services take VERY seriously. You've just done an amazing thing for you and for them and I can see from your posts just how difficult and traumatic it's been for you. But you did it! Bloody well done! FlowersFlowers
