Hi. Im feeling abit insecure at the mo, OH works away in the week and all I can think about for the past couple of weeks is porn and I don't like the idea of him looking at it. I don't know why. Obviuosly I know he looks at it, just like everyother tom dick and harry! I have some but for me to look at it is fine in my head. Can someone reasure me and make me feel better please?

Fine, can't remember the name of it...but it was about anal sex. The woman was taking the bloke's cock up her arse. I don't think it's exploiting women. I don't think there's anything wrong with it. I'm quite happy to take it up the arse too. I'd also be quite happy being filmed doing so...I just doubt many people would be interested in watching it.

I don't really want the details, what I really want to know is how you can justify women being sexually used and exploited like this for the price of a cheap thrill.

As for the anal sex, it's not whether any woman would do it, it's whether the guys who insist on sticking their penises up there or masturbating to a woman having done to them in porn wouldn't mind the favour returned to them. Maybe we could watch them all on film too.

Elizabetth - I fail to see how you think it's only the women who are exploited. Men feature in porn films too.

Actually it is about what the woman wants to do rather than what the man "insists" on doing as you put it. If a woman is happy to have anal sex because her dp/dh has seen it on a porn film then there shouldn't really be a problem. It's somewhat insignificant where he got the idea from.

Ok - think I got all the thread.

I have no issue with porn (possibly because my DH has no interest in it, unless you count anime women with very large breasts fighting monsters?? But DEF nothing goes on as it were when watching that, he actually seems to like the stories ). I have HUGE jealousy issues, but porn (if he were to want to look and BE OPEN ABOUT IT) doesn't bother me.

Answering the question directed at Northerner - it depends on my mood, sometimes I like the romance and to "make love", other times like her I just wanna be f*cked. ( at the idea of my mum coming across this site!!!).

Women in porn - I think it is like the rest of life - some are traumatised women, some just like it.

The new strip club - I wouldn't do completely nude, but if I had rhythm and stomach muscles I wouldn't say never to a bit of dancing!

When you say "us" do you mean you are in porn too?

As for most women in porn - they are being paid to pretend to enjoy what's being done to them - it's why they are called porn actresses.

It's actually pretty much like the old "lie back and think of England routine" except they have to put on an act for England or rather the porn viewer. Women's real sexual pleasure has nothing to do with it - it's all a show for the male viewer.

Yes, yes, I'm not talking about the men in porn - I'm talking about the male viewers who get their kicks seeing lots of degrading things done to women so they can get their rocks off.

I'm saying maybe they should try being humiliated, used and degraded themselves for public consumption then they might not be such big fans of porn.

And before anybody does the boring "women watch porn too", I know a few do, but porn is created with a male audience in mind.

Who is being exploited in male gay porn? There are no women in that. Would you be ok with that type of porn because it doesn't feature women?

As for the "male viewer" comment, I'll refer you back to my post where I say that I watch porn. My dh isn't interested in it tbh. Not all men watch porn. Not all women hate it. I for one rather enjoy it.

You aren't talking about men in porn because it completely ruins any arguement you have about women being exploited. If you look at male gay porn there are no women in that. Is there still exploitation - proabably yes, therefore the exploitation is not restricted to women. As such, it is the industry regulations that need looked at not the existence of porn.

In addition, what about sex scenes in movies, are they exploiting women?

You have your head stuck in the dark ages, where sex was a taboo.

You can't say that porn is mainly created for men cause it is just not true. There is something for everyone out there now, where everyone is being exploited.

And so what it is just a bit of fun.
