Shower sex advice

I've been seeing a man for a few months now and I've never been sexually adventurous at all, he got in the shower with me last night but it wasn't great. It was difficult to do. Does anyone have any advice on this? Any other tips for the sexually naive are most definitely welcomed

Nope it's difficult and over rated. Water adds friction too.

Shower sex is not like in the movies. It is rubbish.

Tried it once. The water started running into our eyes, and we couldn't see. Started breathing the damned stuff in. Decided it was wholly overrated.

And whatever you do, don't grab the curtain rail if there is one.

Better as part of foreplay than the actual event.

A big cubicle and lots of body oil can help.

It sucks. You can't see for water and you just know you're gonna end up bruised somewhere.

I agree, might be alright for foreplay. Get the soap out n lather eachother up or something...but even then when u come out your hair would be soaked...kinda annoying.

Think it would be easier (n more fun) to screw in a rainstorm tbh xD

Well I'm in the minority here as I've had great shower sex a number of times!

I do have a large shower cubicle which definitely helps, and he always takes me from behind, and it's bloody fantastic!

And don't get me started on sex in the sand dunes.... itchy, scratchy and just not fun.

Actually, large shower and from behind can be good ... I'd turn the shower off to be honest...

Colour me vanilla but I find most of these ideas for sex are much more fun as shared fantasies:

Don't bother - unless you have a wet room and actually get down on the floor (which still would be shit I think) it just doesn't work.

I find showering together great after sex. Washing off all the bodily fluids. And also for some other sexual practices but I dont think I can mention them here.

Only thing worse than sex in the shower is sex in the bath. Half my bath water displaced to the bathroom floor when dh clambered in and then the other half went up my nose and down my throat when the wave if water from dhs first thrust came swooshing back towards us. Never again.

Haha bath sex. You know at some point one of you is getting a freezing cold tap on your back...or worse.

And a bloody nightmare if you have folding doors/screen and lean on them .

Ew, bath sex - well actually I've not had actual sex in the bath (I can imagine it would be wavy!) but have done other stuff and when DH had, ahem, finished, I had to clamber out as fast as I could before the jizz floated everywhere!
