Shower sex advice

I've been seeing a man for a few months now and I've never been sexually adventurous at all, he got in the shower with me last night but it wasn't great. It was difficult to do. Does anyone have any advice on this? Any other tips for the sexually naive are most definitely welcomed

My boyfriend and I got stuck having jacuzzi sex when I was 16. Eventually we managed to wiggle free but that was a very stressful 20-30 minutes.

So glad it’s not just me who finds shower sex the opposite of how I’d hoped it would be. Dh is much taller than me so I end up getting drowned and all the surfaces are so bloody hard and slippery in all the wrong ways. A thorough soaping as foreplay has its moments but then you just end up getting the bed all wet and the soap ends up in the Wrong Places. such a disappointment.

It's a fucking nightmare.

Standing up sex is the hardest (fnarr) at the best of times, but add in slippery surfaces, water, and nothing to grab onto and you're basically facing having your face planted into tiles/taps/walls.

It seems so exciting & erotic and oooooh... the reality is one of you gets freezing cold because neither of you can be under the showerhead at the same time, it's slippery, if you have a significant height difference it's bloody well impossible, and then you have a bit of a 'now what?' moment afterwards.

Not to mention that you need naice towels.

When you lay in the bath, do you lay down flat? Because I certainly don't!

My bath has a slope at the opposite end to the taps so you can 'lay' in the bath. So the boyfriend is laying in the bath and I'm laying on top of him.

Also, don't fill the bath right up as they you've got problems with water and bubbles going everywhere.
