MrDrummer I think it can help though I only get bad cramps on my heavy days and wouldn’t want to do it then, the first day or 2 I’m always pretty ummmm up for it 🤣 3 and 4th day I feel like murdering people and crying in to a pillow so best stay away. I hate periods, they get in the way so much when your dating.

I am not going to post anything about having the painters in as (a) I can see a message got deleted so I imagine it was going a bit weird and (b) I am so old that the painters don't come to visit any more

I have just bagged a coffee date one lunchtime next week with Mr Foodie. He lives nearly 2 hours drive away (going against all my usual requirements) but he assures me that he loves driving and is often down my way anyway. We are meeting near where I work to see if we get on. I'm very optimistic about this date for some reason.

@CassettesAreCool Someone else raised the discussion on period sex... this is a natural extension of that discussion. I was genuinely interested to know if the norm is repulsion, like I feel to the idea. I haven't seen many things "off limits" in terms of discussion here and certainly somethings I have read have made my eyes water, but I think it only fair we are allowed to discuss things without being called out for what I believe is a legitimate topic.

I’ve always been up for sex on my period and so have my partners. But I’ve had A mirena for 11 years or so and so no periods to deal with.

mrdrummer I’m quite squeamish so the period sex discussion, while completely legit, had me quite uncomfortable already, even before the vampire wings thing 🤢🤢🤢. It was vwman’s moderator comment that pissed me off - sorry, but it struck a ‘pulling the girls’ pigtails’ note with me. Guess I’m lucky I no longer interact with 13 year olds eh?
