Happn – App only - Shows you profiles of people you've crossed paths with in your daily life. Good for meeting people in your local area. Otherwise works like Tinder or Bumble though people can send a hello/chat request without matching. Anyone can message first. Free with some premium options.
Plenty Of Fish - Website and App - Can chat without matching, search for your own criteria, see who's local. Has a paid subscription - you can't see who "likes" you without paying. Some members only allow you to contact them if you have paid.
Blendr - App only - Can chat without matching. Can see who is local. You can't set a distance on their pairing option. I think it shares a database with another app (bumble maybe?) - beware of this if you are on more than one app! Has a paid subscription - you can't see who "likes" you without paying.
OKCupid - Website and App - Can't chat without matching, but can send an "intro" to anyone that catches your eye. Can set search criteria. Has a paid subscription - you can't see who "likes" you without paying.
Fabswingers – Website – For those looking for NSA etc - No App but has a mobile friendly web site
Tinder – App only - Can set age and distance. Swipe if you like. Can chat via a message.
Bumble – Website and App - Similar to tinder but the woman must start the conversation within 24 hours.
Badoo – Website and App - Can easily use free option - can message - can set preferences and browse by location etc. Can’t see who likes you unless you pay so wise to put “Msg Only-Can’t see likes”.

Lumen over 50s. Works the same way as Badoo

Hinge app only. Similar to Tinder and Bumble.

Coffee meets Bagel app and website. Very confusing.

Blendr and Badoo share the same database, not Blendr and Bumble.
