Dating thread rules:

  1. The first rule about the dating thread is you don't talk about it with people you're dating.
  2. Develop a thick skin.
  3. Do not invest emotionally too soon.
  4. It's all BS until it actually happens.
  5. Trust your gut instinct.
  6. People vanishing, lying & being generally weird is not your fault.

I can't seem to meet anyone but Jonathans or Steves. I'm crying out for a different name.

@lifegoes @Notcoolmum thabks. Yes I have a big knot in my stomach. Ending it was not easy. I feel like shit. But the last few weeks I just felt vulnerable and emotionally guarded and I couldn't carry on like that

Have drunk too much wine and coming to grips with what's happened this week. Think I'm still in shock tbh. Over a year ago we started dating (MrWow). 8 mths on and 6 mths off. It is so weird. Please, please, don't dismiss me guys cos you think I'm on the smitten bench. I still need your help. Do I love him? I had so much put him into the friends zone that I'm finding it difficult to come out of it. The sex is out of this world and I'm worried that is all we are. But that's how I felt before we split. Knowing that he loves me has had a huge difference. But, what is love? Anyone?

My advice would be, don't over think it, just enjoy it and go with the flow. If it feels right, it's right. Overthinking things will destroy you, even overthinking good things. 😘
