OP posts:

erm-I suppose that should have said put my shoes on for me!!! I was too pissed to bend down and was restrained by a very tight dress.
I have narrowed my house down to SW6-Fulham I think. Within my budget (just) close to alot of my friends and not too much of a schlep to Knightsbridge if the boys go to Hill House. BUT...Blu keep on talking. I can be persuaded and as you know, know very little about London!
Hi Popsy-thanks honey. Hope you're feeling OK and glowing??
Hi Anorak-won't be around in the morning darling. Got to go to work I'm going to bed soon. It's the only way I can avoid a glass of wine tonight and I must must must stop falling asleep on the sofa. There's something so sad about it!

Blu · 28/09/2004 20:44

yes, I know - re shoes - but am now agog at you in tight dress and unable to bend down!

Well, near friends is invaluable, esp if they will help you out with childcare, and are near the boys friends, too. I think it depends how you feel about space - access to a garden, access to a good park nearby. it is v important in city life with kids - esp if you are used to nipping to the beach!

Dulwich Village is v leafy, upmarket, has lots of children, the good schools are in walking distance, and good 2ndry schools on doorstep, too. But it isn't on the tube, and I think you either love it or hate it. (I'm a Brixton dweller, and go to Dulwich for little coffee-shop mini-holidays!)

I think Fulham would be great, too.

It was vintage darling. Not trashy tight. But yes-I was HORRIBLY pissed on a cheeky little cocktail called The Queen Vic (tried The Rovers Return but think it would have made me very ill)
It's quite annoying actually. My first conquest for 11 years and I can't really remember too much!
Have just looked on the map Blu and I think Dulwich is too far from my friends honey. South Ken,Chiswick and Southfields are main ones.
