I split up with my partner a few months ago, he walked out and I haven't heard from him since.

Before we split up I had a miscarriage.

I've been feeling rough lately (fatigue) so did a few pregnancy tests which all came back negative, I am still having periods.

I went to the GP this morning after having some blood tests done a week ago and he's informed me that I am in fact pregnant.
I haven't slept with anyone since splitting up with my partner, and going by the last time we slept together (calculations on period tracker app) I could be as much as 20 weeks!
I can't understand it. The negative pregnancy tests, still having regular periods, no morning sickness. Nothing!

I am in a state of shock. I don't know what to do.
I already have toddler DD (ex hasn't seen her since he left either) and now I have to make all these decisions I don't want to make.
I was taking the pill too.

I've got to visit the clinic next week for a dating scan, if I am as far along as I have worked out I'll have a week to decide what to do.
I can't have another baby on my own with no support, I doubt ex will do much. I have no family to talk to.

What do I do? What would you do?
I feel physically sick with worry.

Good luck. I have had a molar pregnancy I bled loads and thought I'd had a miscarriage and was being severely sick my hcg levels were 300,000 instead of 3000. But you could of had some tissue left that's started multiplying again as it grows like a non cancerous tumour.

My goodness what a shock and what a week you must have had.

I just wants some wish you the very best of luck today. What will be will be.

And I would also second Mrs Bert’a advice about foregoing the piss arseing about with family options worth the maintenance. Straight to CMS. Save yourself another disappointment.

You will get through all of this, I promise you that.

ohdeardeardear · 03/08/2018 16:53

Hi OP - don't rush any decisions. Take your time. Your ex should support you but judging by not seeing your DD - sounds like you're a fab mum x

Roomba · 03/08/2018 17:25

I had to wait almost two weeks for the next available 'urgent' scan in similar circumstances - that was over six years ago. Even though I knew I must be over 18 weeks pregnant but other than that had no idea how far along I was, no one would see me any quicker at all. Services have only been cut more since then.

Good luck, OP Flowers

Thinking of you and hoping for the best ( whatever that is.)
I'm an older person, but one of my daughters has had similar problems.
