Hello Smile

I’m Mouse one of the Brave Babes who ride on this wonderful Bus, called Gerald, along with all the Opal Fruits wrappers and of course Barry The squid. Grin

We all have a wise variety of life experiences and experiences with alcohol too. We’re not admirers of hang overs and we certainly don’t do judgey pants!

We’re here to ride along with you, when life is pants but also when it’s not as well and you my want to celebrate that bit too much!

So find a seat and come take a ride. I’ll link the previous and also the very first link and the reason we’re all here.

*Mouse

mint would you accept two feral children in exchange for squishy puppies?

MintToBee · 03/11/2017 12:20

dementedma · 03/11/2017 12:42

A quiet bus tonight

AnnabelFan · 03/11/2017 22:39

I'm here ( sheepishly)..it's my birthday tomorrow so dd&dm took me to a carvery for a birthday meal. I'm now dtrinking a half bottle wine and half bottle vodka...don't ask;!
Anyways, I AM back on it tomorrow
MrHoolie..how are you doing? One day I'll get your user name right!!

SmallFox · 04/11/2017 10:51

Everyone ok today? I'm kicking the tumbleweed down the aisle ... where are you all?

Gloomy day here, but feeling good and reasonably confident that today I Will Not Drink. Been catching up with SoberMummy's blog, which I always find resonates with me and shores up my resolve. Anyone read that book 'Why Mummy Drinks' yet? Keep seeing it around but am a bit nervous about reading it in case it turns out to be too comic or flip about drink and why we drink. The impulse to drink is never, ever funny as far as I'm concerned (though of course some of the output can be). I think SoberMummy's book The Sober Diaries is coming out soon and I'm more confident that will be a positive and reinforcing read.

MsHoolie, as ever, thinking of you.

MintToBee · 04/11/2017 11:54

SmallFox
I'm here. I have a hangover as the wine witch got me good and proper last night. Two bloody bottles. I feel sick and have fucked up my weekend off. I'm such a bloody idiot.

dementedma · 04/11/2017 12:25

spanna41 · 04/11/2017 18:44

Fox I've pm'd you x

Razorboy · 04/11/2017 21:28

Just checking in and saying hi so I don't lose you all.

MsHoolies, keep going, keep trying and get on that detox. You can get better.

I am managing regular AF days. It's Saturday night and I haven't had a drink. I may have just one later. This is miraculous for me, a month ago I couldn't get through a day without at least a bottle of wine. Weekends were a right off. I'm not there yet but I am finding it easier to not have a drink

All my best to all of you brave babes

Razorboy · 04/11/2017 21:29

*write off!

doris9034 · 04/11/2017 21:42

Well done Razor Flowers

Hoolies keep going babe, you can do this, sending strength to you lovely Flowers

Tangfastics · 05/11/2017 04:50

I’m here. Back to moderating. Wish I wasn’t to be honest.

MsHollies please pm me if you want to? You have had loads of good advice about the detox. I know it’s scary, I know you think you’ll fail, I know it’s the worst of the worst you’ll ever face on your life. I know.

But what else do you want to face?

You have to take this detox. For the people offering it to you, for yourself, for your family and for us.

For everyone who is behind you.

Please. X

Tangfastics · 05/11/2017 05:04

You won’t fail at the detox, it’s medically impossible.

Tangfastics · 05/11/2017 05:09

Actually, a bit about me for a mo, not doing great at moderating, after 38 days sober feeling great I’m back to tolerating mid week beers (3 bottles max a night).

Annoying,
