He seems childlike now. I cannot feel lust for a man who pees sitting down. Is that peculiar? Do your other halves do this?

I didn't know men coould pee sitting down until I took a job in an old people's home when I was a student. I was quite taken aback. But it left me wondering why pee standing up?

Bucketsofdynomite · 06/03/2007 22:04

Have had a miserable few weeks and this thread has really made the sun come out (at 10pm.) Haven't laughed this much for ages, thanks so much Mumsnet.

bigknickersbigknockers · 06/03/2007 22:06

my DH sits for a wee for 2 reasons

  1. He sees it a chance to escape the kids so he goes for a wee and makes the most of it by reading the newspaper.

  2. He is going for a wee AND a dump!

Bucketsofdynomite · 06/03/2007 22:06

But honestly guys, I think those of us with sons ought to make sure we've done our job training them not to piss all over the place before slagging off the neat sitters .

Pebblemum · 06/03/2007 22:17

This thread is great!!

If my dh would pee sitting down im sure we would get on a lot better At least then i wouldnt get a nasty suprise when I sit on the toilet seat in the early hours of the morning!! For some reason my dh 'forgets' to lift the seat up, Id be suprised if any wee actually went down the loo on some occassions the amount of mess he leaves

Also my dh has taken to sprinkling the seat with tap water now and again to really annoy me so it would put a stop to that childish prank too

My 3yr old has a better aim than my dh!!

OK MTASP tan a serious he reason I think this topic is such a laugh is that if you were really looking for our sympathy and understanding you would not have posted under such a funny name now would you?

steinermum · 06/03/2007 22:19

I should have previewed that last post, sorry...

I do understand the practical aspect of it, but I cannot get hot under the collar for a man who uses such childish language about his toilet habits and who sits like a toddler to urinate.

ome other choice phrases he uses are "botty-wotty" for my bottom and "girly bark" for breaking wind. He also calls my vulva "special love place" and his penis is his "love poppet".

I did google for a support site, but I had to go and have a lie down when I saw some of the search results were. I think I must be quite naive.

I did find this news story though.

"When boys are not allowed to pee in the natural way, the way boys have done for generations, it is meddling with God's work," Kleppe told Dagbladet."

hunkermunker · 07/03/2007 00:05

Girly bark?! Love poppet?!

OMFG - what on earth has pillow talk been like in the past for you not to have noticed his choice of phrase is twee to say the least?!

themanfromiPannema · 07/03/2007 00:16

an ex- of mine called her fanjo "Heaven's Gate".

I thought she was rather guilty of over-statement.

serenity · 07/03/2007 00:22

engagedtoastanderupper · 07/03/2007 00:34

I wonder if I should be worried. DP couldn't piss sitting down if he tried to, his c*ck is too small!

hunkermunker · 07/03/2007 00:35

And yet you are betrothed to this man?

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/03/2007 00:36

LOL was wondering what

Engaged Toast And Rupper meant.....

EngagedToAStanderUpper · 07/03/2007 00:38

Size isn't everything

hunkermunker · 07/03/2007 00:39

He must have an acorn though if he couldn't piss sitting down!

Are you a squirrel?

DHLikesMeToStandAndPee · 07/03/2007 00:40

This thread seems an appropriate place to raise this question:

My DH likes to watch me standing up and peeing into the lavatory - is this common practice?

I've got a pretty good aim with a full bladder, and its quite liberating.

themanfromiPannema · 07/03/2007 00:40

quite engaged.

Some of us have this as a daily mantra.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 07/03/2007 00:41

ROFL!

Why did Terry Nutkins spring to mind then?
