I'm in! Starting today in fact and my happy thing is that my baby nephew was born this morning

I just watched a new movie - first time in ages. 'The intern' with Robert DeNiro, I thoroughly recommend!

Ok- for me today-
My DD took a dozen of my beautiful hens' eggs across country on an inland flight in her suitcase.They are for part of her and her friend' New Year's Eve meal.

None of them were broken !!!

I am learning how to stand up for myself with my partner without ruining my day and without losing hope for a future with him.
I'm using a combination of 'grey rock' and 'middle chill' technique - all combined wth working on myself.

I've been struggling with a migraine today. Been outside in the cold and fog for several hours. Finally able to get into my warm bed (electric blanket) and lay my thumping head down ...

Feeling very grateful ... and hopeful that a long sleep will help.

A very quiet day here but the highlight being tomato soup and a bath. Bliss.

One of my cats didn't come home last night. I'd locked him in our garage. When he was gobbing off at me before breakfast my ♡ swelled with affection for him.
