In short, you photograph a happy thing every day for 100 days, and share it on fb/twitter/by email with the website.

haha peppa!

I wouldn't say running brought me any happiness either this evening. Nevermind, tomorrow is a new day!

I'm lounging in bed (which is quite nice) avoiding all responsibility. I do love my bed.

peppatax · 09/01/2017 20:47

Sort of ditto! I'm in the bath...

Boundaries · 09/01/2017 20:47

Audible sound of The Penny Dropping for one of my class today. That was pretty happy making.

I love this! Just made two sneaky phone calls to book horse riding with the grandkids and a meal out for my husband's birthday. He hasn't got a clue but will love it.

JudithTaverner · 09/01/2017 20:50

oh I'd love a bath right at this moment but my bathroom is a building site at the moment.

bed is pretty good though!

peppatax · 09/01/2017 20:50

That's a lovely happy thing clippity

burninglikefire · 09/01/2017 21:00

Hi, can I be a late starter?

Day 1: woken by a robin chirping on the bird feeder attached to my bedroom window. Had a good gym session this evening.

Both of these made me happy Smile.

Boundaries · 09/01/2017 22:13

Nice, burning :)

Lovely start Burning and I bet your grandkids and husband will love your surprises.

Today is day 13 for me and when I got home from work the ticket I'd booked to see Sleepless at the Lowry has arrived. The show isn't until April but I am looking forward to it and I was a bit worried that it wouldn't arrive before I have to move house. Grin

Roodolf · 10/01/2017 19:40

clippity how lovely - I am terrible at keeping surprises secret! Am sure they'll love them.

TheTapir now that's organised! Hope you don't lose it in the move.

I am mostly just very tired by a long day but I was cheered up by having pudding, which is a rare treat, and was thoroughly enjoyed!

peppatax · 10/01/2017 22:08

Some more lovely things today...

I'm happy I had a good day at work. Got lots done and appeared competent to the boss so always a winner!

JudithTaverner · 10/01/2017 22:17

Sounds good Peppa. I'm going to be more dedicated at work this year I think.

For me, the highlight was again running - so glad I went this evening. But also had a nice day at home working after the cleaner left. I love a clean, quiet (apart from an army of builders) house. Wandered around again with my music on, which is lovely. I do think music is very happiness inducing.

This evening, gin has helped. (day 14 for me).

Much happiness to you all tomorrow! x

Happy things:
Great class with my yr10s today.

More running.

Had a good day today. Enjoyed work, had a lovely coffee with a friend. Happy things today were my bike rides into and back from work. Clear roads and I'm managing to speed up and broke some of my records. This morning it was lovely and sunny and I just felt very content.

Tomorrow I have a date! Wonder if it will be my happy thing for tomorrow?

Boundaries · 11/01/2017 21:30

Oooh, tell all Judith!

peppatax · 11/01/2017 21:36

YY to hearing about the date!

I'm struggling today for something happy, been a tough day. I had pre-school facetime with DD though while she was with XH and she was very happy and excited the tooth fairy had been so come to think of it that was probably the highlight!

JudithTaverner · 11/01/2017 21:48

yes, a guy I've been speaking to (met via tinder!) since before Christmas. Really really lovely. Ticks all the boxes but of course, until I meet him, I don't know whether I'll fancy him. Anyway tomorrow's the day!

my ex-boyfriend dumped me out of the blue 2 weeks before Christmas, and I was pretty poleaxed by it. So not sure how I'll deal with this, but he's very nice and a distraction and the chat has been lovely! So let's see! On paper he's pretty good. Taller and younger than the ex. Better paid and very charming and funny. Let's see!

burninglikefire · 11/01/2017 21:51

Had lunch with a close friend today - it was good to have a catch up. Gave us both the chance to offload.

The date sounds exciting!

Roodolf · 12/01/2017 17:40

I'll start the happy things today - and good luck Judith!!
I had a good day at work, so nice to see my colleagues after a long gap.
And am managing to 'fast' at lunchtime the last few days so lost a couple of lbs which is all good.

burninglikefire · 12/01/2017 18:09

I saw a beautiful heron, really close up, on my walk to the supermarket this morning. Took a couple of photos (but not sure I know how to post them).

burninglikefire · 12/01/2017 18:15

Think I have sussed how to add photo

JudithTaverner · 12/01/2017 18:49

my date got cancelled due to the weather! Oh well. Now it's next Tuesday.

Have had a really nice day anyway. Going to hit the gin and netflix later which may be my happy thing!

Boundaries · 12/01/2017 20:21

Oooh, lovely heron!

Happy children with gappy teeth are v happy things!

Boo to date cancellation Judith! Although yay for reschedule. True, isn't it that you can fancy them on paper, but then they walk in and it's...oh....Confused

OP posts:
Boundaries · 12/01/2017 20:22
