How old were you when you had a child?

I'm worrying about this. At work, anyone who reaches 30 seems panicked if they're not on their way to having a baby.

I'm nearly 30 and still single so nowhere near having children!

22, will have more but will stop when I turn 30.

25 with dd. By the time this one pops I'll be 27

I was 33 when I had my first. I don't think it's old. People are having babies later these days.

29 for first

Any problems with fertility in your family? Nowadays you get lots of first time mums a over 30, some even over 40(!) so unless you suspect a medical issue you can prob relax for a bit!

25 when I had DS, 27 when I had DD. DH and I had only been in a relationship for a year when I got pregnant (unplanned) so if we hadn't had DS when we did we probably wouldn't have had any children by now (I am now 28). We would have waited til we were in our early 30s I think.

29, 35, 37!!

36. My daughter is 6 months old now. Will be trying for a sibling soon, so even older when (if) the next one comes along! Possibly 38 or 39

38, still single...
Hoping there won't be an issue to have at least one baby.

25 and unplanned, your age is perfect. I was too young.

28,30 and 37!

21 and 23 was talking today with colleague she, is wondering to do again at 38. My other colleague is 50, he would try again in a heartbeat.

40. Was about to start ttc-ing when we discovered I was already pregnant (whilst on the pill!) Had a lovely straightforward pregnancy, although I did have a section (for breech baby- nothing age related), and there were some complications from the section and the baby had some lung probs initially but is fine. He's five weeks now. We may TTC next year, we may not- it will be interesting to see if it's as easy for us at 41! Most of my friends have started their families in mid 30s but there are plenty having second or third babies in their late 30s/ early 40s.

Met DH at 34, married at 36 DS at 37 DD at 40.job done. It happens when it happens

19 when I fell pregnant with DD about 3 weeks after my wedding, 20 when she was born.
21 when I fell pregnant this time, will be 22 when baby arrives in November.

27 when DC1 was born and will be 29 when DC2 is due. DH is 2 years older than me. We're about average amongst friends of similar age, some have DCS similar age to ours and others are no where near that stage in their lives.
Fpr perspective, my parents were 16 and 18 when I was born, PIL were 40 and 43 when DH was born. We both grew up in happy environments and are (fairly...) well adjusted individuals (I think!).

Married at 29, DS1 at 38, DS2 at 41 (nearly 42).

22 I think could of been 23...not having anymore for a while though.

29 first, 32 second. Was a tad earlier than my friends with the first. Would love another.

Oh, and I only met my other half when I was 30!
