How old were you when you had a child?

I'm worrying about this. At work, anyone who reaches 30 seems panicked if they're not on their way to having a baby.

I'm nearly 30 and still single so nowhere near having children!

unplanned = being lax with contraception because you read all the stuff that says you're more likely to land on the moon than get pregnant past 40

I think there are other meanings for unplanned, not just being 'lax' with contraception...

Hmm

Querty that was just my experience obviously there are other reasons

I had DD1 at 23 and DD2 at 26.

My sister had her DS at 32 though and thinking of having another next year at 35.

Under 35 to me if or a first child is more than acceptable.

Any age as long as you are healthy and fertile is acceptable (16+ obviously).

Good luck finding that right person for a family.

Only met OH at 31, pregnant at 32 and had ds1 at 33, ds2 at 35, ds3 at 38 and planning one more. Most friends between 32 and 36 for their first, one friend married at 40 and has hers at 42 and 44. So you have ages!

35

20, 22, 26, 36 and 39 (a week away from 40!)
#5 was a one off and a missing coil. So no obvious issues conceiving despite my age!
