My friend ran over to ask me this morning why there was a pretty young lady in our car with my fella!

Im willing to accept that maybe im being a bit daft about this, BUT, i called and asked dp and he said yes, she is called Rachel, she started work there a few weeks ago and he has been picking her and giving her a lift ever since! We only have one car and up until a few weeks ago (funnily enough) i had the car most of the time as he got a lift of a friend, but suddenly he decided he needs the car all the time - hmm i wonder why that is! AND she only lives round the corner from us - why has he failed to tell me all of this? and only told me grudgingley when i asked him about it? My friend said she looked really young and pretty! im trying not to be silly about it but i have to wonder why he hasnt said anything at all about her!

RTKangaMummy · 28/09/2006 18:50

How long is the drive to work?

AttilaTheMeerkat · 28/09/2006 19:51

"I have to put up with other pretty men".

Well they're not in the car with her are they?.

sugarfree · 28/09/2006 19:51

sugarfree · 28/09/2006 19:52

Go grovel to your wife.fgs.And change your name to Mr Trio or something.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 28/09/2006 19:53

Trio is not married.

sugarfree · 28/09/2006 19:55

Apologies.
Go grovel to your partner and mother of your children.

SSSandy · 29/09/2006 10:30

So where is Trio herself then?

Trio · 29/09/2006 16:54

OP posts:
Trio · 29/09/2006 17:10

Oooh - have only read so far atm, but dp HAS been giving her a lift for weeks, im good friends with his boss' wife and she said she started there the 4th of sept and he has given her a lift on "a number of occasions"

PcCOD · 29/09/2006 17:10

this is a pisstake

FluffyOHaraOfSnugglesville · 29/09/2006 17:17

Well if he's still lying then he's likely to be fucking her.. else why lie.

And yes 30yo's do fuck 20yo's - in cars too

And Mr Trio - if your wife is upset then it is a problem, regardless of how trivial you think it maybe.

And the moral of this story, men, is don't lie to your women if you're innocent cos it's more hassle than it's worth!

Trio · 29/09/2006 17:19

Oh let me assure you PcCod - this is NOT a pisstake - not even in the slightest bit, but i can understand where your coming from, if i wasnt in the middle of it i too would think it was just far too stupid for words, dp is right in one way at least it has all blown out of proportion, but dare i repeat myself....... its not about what he's done, its about how he has dealt with it! and now he has started to say i was stupid to get mad about him talking and frequently emailing other women and telling them personal things, because "its only the internet" WTF - thats ok then!!!!!!?????? - yeah i know, Mr trio and myself CLEARLY need to either talk or go and live at opposite ends of the Earth! hmmmm.......

TRio,is this for real.

I must admit I also thought there was something strange about this thread at the beginning.

If it is for real trio why don't you insist you get the car back and your dp arranges some other way to get to work.
Ater all you have 3 kids and could probably do with the car more than him!!

risingsun · 29/09/2006 17:20

Sorry Trio,crossed posts

Trio · 29/09/2006 17:23

You know what, maybe it is me with the problem, maybe i am making far too much out of this, maybe i need to go give my head a shake and book myself into the pyschie ward!

FluffyOHaraOfSnugglesville · 29/09/2006 17:23

I'd be worried, if I were you, that he had told his colleague about all this and made you sound a bit 'odd' if he's using the internet against you now... trying to turn it round to be your mistake rather than his if you ask me.
