Threesome advice

naicesex · 10/07/2014 17:25

Recently, both DH and I have been thinking of having a threesome with another man. Quite nervous about the idea in actuality but loved the fantasy.

In the last week a man (quite by chance) has entered my life who I have really clicked with. I like him a lot and would really like to be the third person. He has agreed in principle to this.

Can anyone offer any sane and sound advice regarding threesomes?

I'm not a troll and this is a genuine question.

Yahoo Answers used to be the place to go for these sort of topics.

JapaneseMargaret · 11/07/2014 19:24

It just smacks of, 'the lady doth protest too much'.

You're having a sex life. Brilliant for you. Well done.

You're not the first person to do so, though. And the feeling I always get is, them's that bangs on about it the most, is getting it the least.

Just do it. Or don't do it. But if you're genuinely after threesome advice, then you're probably not all that cut out for it surely it's best to seek it somewhere other than a parenting forum, of all Godforsaken places!

Priceless.

naicesex · 11/07/2014 19:31

Jesus fucking Christ!

I ENJOY being called a slut? I mean, I you do appreciate that you are attempting to bully me don't you?

There are other threads on threesomes on this site, what is it about this one that is getting under your skin?

Why can't I talk about sex? There are plenty of other threads about sex on here.

Japanese, you have a zero knowledge of what I get up to.

And finally, all latest comments that have been posted above merely seek to remind other mumsnetters who wish to ask a sensitive question about (to coin a phrase - slightly outré) sex that THIS is the response they get.

They are bullied and harassed and shamed. Its a disgrace actually.

I am PERFECTLY entitled to ask a sex question in Relationships as we don't have a special 'sex' board

I'm not going anywhere. So please do feel free to pile on if you so wish. After all, its Friday night eh? Wine

I haven't claimed to have any knowledge of 'what you get up to'....?

You can ask about whatever you like. And people will respond as they like. I still don't get why you would come to a parenting website for threesome advice, and I don't suppose I'm ever likely to.

As I say, you'd probably have to wade through less piss-taking if you sought advice somewhere more tailored/knowledgable, which is surely to your advantage...?

Other Mumsnetters who wish to ask 'outré' questions, most probably have the nous to ask them at such places...?

naicesex · 11/07/2014 19:58

Yes. They probably do because they known they will be bullied on here.

I refuse to be hounded off a site where I have helped other people in 'Relationships' and in return have received help when i have been distressed.

I have already received several private messages of support from other 'netters

Lets have a proper 'sex' board then?

And yes japanese that is exactly what you did. For your information

"And the feeling I always get is, them's that bangs on about it the most, is getting it the least."

Which I responded with;

"Japanese, you have a zero knowledge of what I get up to."

Well you're an adult, so the only advice I can give is " have fun" (big smile)
I once had an erm sort of threesome. I met 2 guys at a night club went home with the both and took turns to have sex with each of them while the other watched. What can I say I'm irrisistable and 2 men wanted me at the same time.

naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:01

dontgotosleep im sure you are! Grin

There is a reason why I wont post this on Fetlife. I dont want a thread rammed with comments such as 'great', 'you go for it' etc etc. I wanted a more balanced viewpoint.

By balanced, I of course mean, 'not being trolled'.

It's a sad day when people can't come on MN for answers to any question, IMO. thought this place used to be tolerant.

MadeMan · 11/07/2014 20:06

"Lets have a proper 'sex' board then?"

I hope not, otherwise my mobile provider will likely filter Mumsnet out (like it has done with certain other innocent websites) and I won't be able to browse the MN recipes when I'm bored at work.

LEMmingaround · 11/07/2014 20:06

Mumsnet is not a sex site but it has a relationship board and sex is a massive part of most peoples relationships. One of the biggest.

Now im sure the op could post on fet life or whatever its called to get advice on safe words, what toys to take to the party etc.

I assume she knows about safe sex!

I imagine she wanted advice on how this would affect her relationship etc. I would imagine fetlife would be somewhat biased. Maybe she wanted to hear from people who have done this and maintained a relationship afterwards. Also those who have done it and regret it.

I think this actually totally appropriate for this site.

Or are we only to talk about parenting? Because there are loads of sections of this site that have fuck all to do with parenting. Style and beauty anyone?

naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:08

Thanks happy.

Actually, you know what? Sod the original OP. I have a new one.

"When did we become so intolerant on here?"

OP posts:
naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:10

Thanks LEM you took the words right out of my mouth.

If we cant have sex - or rather we can only have the rpescribed 'vanilla' sex then why do we have S&B or ones about Dogs or Hobbies or Geek stuff?

OP posts:
happyyonisleepyyoni · 11/07/2014 20:11

:)
You want intolerant, try posting that you had an affair
They will burn you alive!

naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:11

Then enable that setting in your mobile settings page online MadeMan

MadeMan · 11/07/2014 20:16

I won't be doing that naicesex, I quite like having a porn free mobile phone, but it would be a shame if Mumsnet got added to the filter list. I'd just access this website later on at home though and make do without during work hours (I should be busy working anyway Wink ).

ivoryblankets · 11/07/2014 20:18

I actually wasn't trying to have a go. I genuinely think the best place for you to investigate this would be somewhere like Fet.

There are groups local to your area, you could "talk" to those who have done it and who are poly and who are much more aware of the pitfalls than most on here.

If you do it, be careful - like I said, dental dams, condoms, and make sure you are safe and have an exit plan in place.

Also, if you would post on fet, you could ask around the local scene and find out if this man who is the potential 3rd is safe and sane.

I really don't think the relationship board here is somewhere you will get the kind of in depth advice that you really need.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 11/07/2014 20:21

Oh give OP a break. Threesomes are practically mainstream.

naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:24

Thanks ivory i know you weren't.

But as I and LEM have said - I know what Fetlife is like and I want balanced views from people outside of the scene. So Im not posting this there, no way.

I'm meeting up with some other like-minded people soon in RL

OP posts:
naicesex · 11/07/2014 20:25

But actually, I've had lots of advice that I am taking on board. So, I did get what I asked for.. and a whole lotta other stuff too Grin
