The Brave Babes Battle Bus - Carry On Past The Park Bench!

1000 replies

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 18/10/2010 10:54

Hello Smile

I'm Mouse and one of the Brave Babes on the Battle Bus.

The bus is never full and you'll find a real mix of people on board, all with the same goal.

To take control of their drinking. Whether that's to stop completely or cut right down.

Everyone is welcome to get on the bus at any point. You will receive a warm welcome and plenty of support.

Some come meet the others.........

The journey so far.

See I'm more fussy than you....

Mine would have to have teeth, put his glass eye in a safe place and wash his hair piece every night.

Oh, and unscrew his false leg and prop it up so I didn't break my neck on it in the middle of the night!

Step away from the booze Wasindie. You know the drill!!!!

Keep busy til it passes. You'll only regret it if you don't and be here later or tomorrow feeling sorry for yourself and guilty.

It's just not worth it is it? You've been here before xx

well done wasindie
I've noticed that everyone goes to bed very early on this bus, is it because you all have littluns that wake you in the night or in order to resist temptation?

being good tonight - hot chocolate only. i seem to be able to do alternate nights and can't manage two in a row Sad
Still, i suppose it's better than every night which is where i was two weeks ago.

zombieinhighheelswhatnext · 22/10/2010 20:44

bb, sometimes it is to help resist, mostly though for me, its because i have have been so busy during the day im totally knackered!, i am astonished at how much i acomplish, not just the mundane crap of life, but the things i really enjoy doing!, i have this evening made my key lime pie and a pumpkin pie ready for dinner tomorrow - previously i would have been pissed by the time eastenders started!, im now off to marinade me lamb shanks! (ooeerr missus! [hgrin])

mouse - i am saving 'cunt pickle' for a special occasion! [hgrin]
