Hi, Dorisfrombarry,

Like you, we had a fantastic life together. There may have been ups and downs but we tackled them together and were, in what I thought was a very happy and good place - good jobs, absolutely no financial worries and a very good and dear son and I was looking forward to a wonderful life together. Obviously he had a different agenda and although the parting was not acrimonious (not much has been said to each other in the last 6 months) and there were no exchange of blows (!), there were also no apologies or even a "sorry".

I just cannot figure it out and probably never will. Last Sunday was a sobbing, gut wrenching kind of day but today I am just so sad.

Thanks for all the hugs.
