I'm Mouse and I'm 10 whole days sober which is bloody amazing given that I would normally consume nearly 90 units per week! And that's without 'special occasions'!!

So, if I can do it, you can do it! The support here is awesome, no matter where you are in your quest to quit. No judging, no cliquey groups.

We are just real, honest people. All helping each other to give up the booze. Come meet the other Brave Babes........................

desire - I really know that you mean about the impatience. When I go on a diet I want to have lost a stone by the start of day 2 being just one example! I think it's looking for instant gratification or something. How are you doing today?

Morning Moomin, feeling a lot better today, actually felt a bit more motivated this morning as on my way to work I met two girls I know and both were looking absolutely terrific.
Before you think I have gone a little loopy, the first girl spent 6 weeks last year drying out as she finally admitted she was an alcoholic. She is now almost a year clean.
Two years ago the second girl lost almost 4 stone in weight and has managed to keep it off.
They just made me feel that anything is possible:)
