Is this the cheapest area in the uk to buy a 3 bed detached? Just can't believe how much house you get for your money!

800k id say. Suburb of Dublin

FAQs · 21/06/2021 22:51

Oh wow and it’s lovely! Maybe around £350k in East Midlands, around £950k where I’m from in South London.

Livingintheclouds · 21/06/2021 22:52

Ha where I live now about £450k, where I'm moving to about £1.4m.

StayCalmX · 21/06/2021 22:52

Oh sorry, you said in the uk! I agree it must be the cheapest place to buy

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 21/06/2021 22:53

OP, are you familiar with Patna?
I assume not. Grin

That house would be £500k near me probably.

Redtartanshoes · 21/06/2021 22:53

£200k ish. £170k if further out/not as nice area. Am outside Glasgow

EL8888 · 21/06/2021 22:54

About £400k ish

doodleZ1 · 21/06/2021 22:54

Yes Patna. Poor roads, difficult to get to and from my last visit very run down

Redtartanshoes · 21/06/2021 22:55

Ah just seen where it is. I half know that area. There is literally nothing but countryside and weird villages. Miles from anywhere

MuchTooTired · 21/06/2021 22:55

Wow, that is a bargain!

Probably be around 600-650k where I am (SE).

yeOldeTrout · 21/06/2021 22:59

300k? This seems sort of similar.

FizzyPink · 21/06/2021 23:05

With a garden of that size and a house like that, you’d be looking at at least £1.2m where we are in SE London

Cheeseandbiscuits1 · 21/06/2021 23:07

Not familiar with patna itself but I know Ayr is a nice wee seaside town, Patna is 9 miles away.

£350k - inland Cornwall.

Faranth · 21/06/2021 23:10

250k ish. Cornwall.

Missillusioned · 21/06/2021 23:11

At least 3 times that. And I'm in Wales

Cheeseandbiscuits1 · 21/06/2021 23:11

As an aside, it's strange how the log burner flu goes through the ceiling into the upstairs bedroom. Lovely views though, looks very peaceful.

Around £1m in my neighbourhood in South London

Uberbeeboo · 21/06/2021 23:12

Approx £220k - £250k North Tyneside!

Willwebebuyingnumber11 · 21/06/2021 23:14

Anywhere between £250- £500k in Sheffield, depending on which part of the city.

Member589500 · 21/06/2021 23:14

About 1.2 million. But the views wouldn’t be as lovely Grin

MyAnacondaMight · 21/06/2021 23:15

£750k in my corner of East London, somewhat ignoring the garden, as it just wouldn’t have a garden like that round here. If it did, it would be a development plot and so revise the price to £1.25m.

Grumpycatsmum · 21/06/2021 23:16

Between £350k - £600k. West end of Glasgow. Wide range reflects different school catchments and perceived desirability

gurglebelly · 21/06/2021 23:18

Our 3 bed, 1 bath semi is currently worth c375k so maybe 450k

grandmashotdoodlebugs · 21/06/2021 23:18

I could get a loan against my house and buy that ! (off to look up how long it would take to get there)

£550k where I live....
