This is so true. As an American I can confirm that every single house in the US looks just like this one.

Very over the top..
I prefer a lovely Georgian house with walled gardens and no swimming pool, stables and maybe a lake.
The over the top ness of these American houses just doesn’t appeal to my taste.

I actually gasped out loud when I opened the photograph of the hallway... that's a LOT of Christmas... and a LOT of nativity scenes (everywhere) and a LOT of shiny black tile. The puce toilets and the other toilet sat on a heap of stones just finish it off for me.

Just to much to comment on but for starters:

The stone/pebble effect in one of the bathrooms
The pink toilets and basins
The golf clubs
The millions of shirts

Woweeeeee, the first few photos reminded me of a friends property out in Dallas but then the inside dismissed any idea of similarities!

That’s said, I’ve not seen my friends house at Christmas but I can imagine it’s a (not much) toned down version of that!

As an example, the same friend has a 1 acre lake in the shape of Texas and has a flag flying in the lake in the exact position of his house, it’s bloody bonkers but he’s actually a normal person!

Oh, apart from the loaded shot gun that lives on his doorstep, just to shoot snakes of course....... 😂

I just feel so sorry for that tiny coffee table surrounded by that humongous corner sofa.

I agree that the interior shots look like they're computer generated. There's a flatness to them and the light seems too even, like everything's been given the same highlights. Very odd.

The raspberry coloured toilet upset me the most.

Pic 19 Can you imagine trying to clean that bathroom with all the glued on... what are they? Mussel shells?

I'd have the pool but would be swiftly taking a match to most of the rest of it!
