So nervous for primary school offer!

Just wanting to feel less alone, I am losing sleep with worry about the primary school my DD will get a place at! We live 0.9 miles from our first choice school however they always have 2/3x the applicants than they offer places so I'm so worried we will just miss out by not living next door 😫

Hey we got our second choice but the portal has no information about why we missed out on our first - will the email we get later today have anymore info.

On the portal where I applied for the place. Logged back in and it was there. I also have an email now

@dandeliondaisy I'm in London and there's nothing on the portal, it's just says that we will hear in the evening on the 17th

@trickmast good to know, me too. Someone said they let some know as late as 5pm to stagger the amount of calls and emails / queries. But again, who knows!

Nothing here yet. Our neighbouring borough put out a notice on Facebook saying it would be during the day tomorrow, but no idea here. My friend who lives near Birmingham found out hours ago! Realistically, I know we're very likely to get first choice, but I'm still nervous.

Bit late to the party, but I’ve been a nervous wreck about it for the longest time, my twins got first choice! The relief, I can now possibly go back to a semi-normal functioning human being! Ha!
