@ofwarren But the delivery drivers and neighbours know that we are prepping because of delivery vans 😅 one even asked dh “preparing for lockdown are we?” for which dh said “we just started, hope you do too”. I made an online order at Costco for the first time and every item was delivered separately today ( total of 4 times delivery van up n down in a day along with amazon order makes me look as if I’m buying heaps- but it’s nothing but the minimum packs of kitchen roll, coffee, dishwasher tabs and laundry tabs from Costco 😂

I've given in and bought a bottle of surgical spirit and some banana boat alone vera gel. Have got some small squeeze bottles so will be making up some hand gel. Not great but better than nothing. Those that are doing the same what Part/ mix are you working on ?

Mine are Zincovit and they contain 4mg of zinc per lozenge and you are allowed a max of 4 lozenges per day But not over an extended period of time

My attempt at homemade sanitizer gel did not go well this evening! If anyone has more luck than me please say how you did it. I've just wasted a lot of aloe vera and rubbing alcohol! Also it smells very strongly and you might want to wear some kind of face mask to not breathe it in.

I know @wheresmymojo, I just read it. Admittedly the post is misleading as the school hasn't been closed, but if my kids went there I think I'd think twice about sending them in. Newbury is closer for us but MIL works in Winchester. I'm getting quite nervous now.

@ofwarren I have couple of elderly neighbours who are lovely.. but there is also this next door one with 27 pets who annoys dh everytime (like if something happens and we forget to clean our gutter because it’s a Wednesday morning he turns up and says “can you ask your landlord this” and “can I say your landlord that” - dh always has to emphasize and say “I’m the landlord” for which he groans a “eh” This has happened to us more than hundred times now🤣🤣 (we have been in the same house for more than a few years)

Is the Winchester case a new one today. As it seems like the pupils are being put in to self isolation because they travelled in the taxi of a driver who tested positive. But when did the driver test positive? And is he from Winchester?

Detergent( washing up liquid and water) or soap and water on cloths, it was recommended on R4 for cleaning for this virus. Keep in a bag.

I use Milton wipes @avocadoincident - although I confess I haven’t been through ingredients with a fine tooth comb to check efficacy!
