It took me 3 years to conceive DD, surely this isn’t isn’t the world’s faintest positive?

I think I’m roughly 12DPO, on day 30 of my 32ish day cycle anyway. Had sex once.

DH thinks he can’t see anything at all. I think I can. Precious DD is TINY.

I see lines on all the photos! It will be so lovely for your dd to have a sibling so close in age. And you will get all the baby/toddler things done at the same time- it’ll be hard but handy and easier afterwards when they’re both like 5 and 6 and able to do similar activities like cinema, trampoline park etc

Coolyule · 19/11/2022 14:13

How old is your dd?

Thehonestbadger · 19/11/2022 14:18

I can see a line but I just wanted to warn you I’ve been caught out twice now by these tests.
The picture I attached was actually negative - confirmed with GP blood test. And it wasn’t a one off I got about 8 that looked exactly like this, even after the GP blood test came back

OP, I totally get how you’re feeling, it took us two years to conceive my DD and then 2 cycles after my periods came back to conceive baby #2! (Currently 17w pregnant) and the guilt was all consuming. DD was 11 months when I got pregnant and I sobbed and sobbed because I felt I was being disloyal to her and didn’t (and don’t!) understand how I’m supposed to love two as much as I love her. Honestly though it feels a lot more manageable now I’ve got over the first trimester and it’s sunk in a bit more.

it’s totally fine to feel how you do, it’s a big shock but two close in age (I’ve heard) will be wonderful! Try and stay calm and positive, I hope it all works out for you love xxx

Thank you all so so so much. Interesting that some of you have had evaps with these tests. Thanks for letting me know, that’s actually really so helpful. Thank you all again for the support and solidarity.

The spotting has resumed this afternoon so maybe it’s AF and I have one of these dodgy tests, or maybe if it that was an early positive this morning, it’s all about to blow over anyway. I’ll keep you posted.

Thank you all 💐

That’s a shocker! How awful for you 💐

Sorry I think that’s negative

B1993 · 19/11/2022 16:28

Just wanted to reiterate what others have said - these brands have given a lot of false hope to people recently.

OP, your test definitely has a line but hard to tell if it's pink or not... what colour is it in person? If it's more of a grey, I'd say this is an indent and not a true positive. I think it's worth buying another brand to confirm like clear blue... I've heard great things about their ultra early digital tests.

Good luck with whatever result you're after! 🍀🤞🏻

I would have swore this is a postive - it looks so pink from the picture! Definitely the worst indent I've seen.

I honestly think it's despicable that the companies make such terrible tests (especially when they used to be so reliable) and shatter so many dreams! 💔

I hope you get your BFP soon @Thehonestbadger, if you haven't already! 💖🤞🏻

😮😮 omg I’m SO sorry, that 100% looks positive 😔. I agree with pp- worst indent I’ve seen xx

PinkButtercups · 19/11/2022 16:51

I can also see a line.

There is 10 months between me and my sister. I was premature otherwise there would be a year.

i had one like this too. defo retest though x

The spotting has got heavier. I’ve just taken the other FRER and a cheapo Asda one. The Asda one I see absolutely nothing on. That’s a complete negative. They are less sensitive. The FRER I see a line again. But I am spotting a fair bit, so I think it’ll end the way most of my pregnancies do.

Mate, that's positive.

Mate, that's positive.

I think that I know that. Just that I’m spotting, I’ve already had 3 miscarriages that have traumatised me completely. And my DD is tiny 🤣just a good place to chat xx

Positive! Biscuit

greenstrawberries · 19/11/2022 18:19

Well I can see that line from your afternoon test very clearly

Positive! Biscuit

Is that a biscuit? 🤣I’m treating myself to a Kit Kat chunky. It’s been a DAY.

Do one of those clear blue ones that comes up saying "pregnant" or "not pregnant" ... if only to convince your DH!

Good luck x

Wagsandclaws · 19/11/2022 18:47

Yes I'd say the pm one is positive for sure but I agree with other posters and think the frer tests appear to be producing shocking indents.

I can't tell from the photos if those lines are pink or grey?

Asda test isn't that sensitive- could be a chemical?

Either way op I really hope you get the result you want.

Sleepyquest · 19/11/2022 18:59

The one this morning is a deffo and morning tests are slightly more reliable than evening ones aren't they?
I'm not sure if you are hoping it is or isn't but I hope it works out the way you want x

3yearsversus3minutes · 20/11/2022 07:50

Test from this morning is SO faint. This is confusing!

I think you’d need to do another FRER to be able to compare. Might be faint on the one you’ve done this morning but might have been darker on the FRER IYSWIM
Hope you get the answer you want

snowbellsxox · 20/11/2022 07:56

I can't see it on that one, could you zoom for us :)
