It took me 3 years to conceive DD, surely this isn’t isn’t the world’s faintest positive?

I think I’m roughly 12DPO, on day 30 of my 32ish day cycle anyway. Had sex once.

DH thinks he can’t see anything at all. I think I can. Precious DD is TINY.

Definite line op congratulations

Hopefull1981 · 19/11/2022 09:08

It looks like mine at 9dpo. Good luck with tomorrows test.

Postapocalypticcowgirl · 19/11/2022 09:09

I can see the line on every photo- just so you know you aren't going mad. If you'll be able to cope today, I think doing the other test tomorrow is a good idea.

Wishing you all the best, either way.

9 months from now, your DD will be a year old, right? I think things will feel very different then?

AlwaysLatte · 19/11/2022 09:13

I can see a line in all of them, stronger in the last couple of photos. Congratulations!

glasshole · 19/11/2022 09:13

Why did you do the test if your period isn't due op?

addler · 19/11/2022 09:14

That's what both of my pregnancies looked like early on. It's not unusual for a pregnancy to greatly affect your fertility after giving birth.

I'm sorry it isn't easier news for you. I hope whatever you decide works out well for you Flowers

Emmelina · 19/11/2022 09:15

It’s faint, but I see it. There are definitely some of these where everyone else is seeing it and I’m there thinking “where?!” :D
test with your other test tomorrow, but quiet congratulations from me!

MassiveSalad22 · 19/11/2022 09:15

I can see a very faint line and if that was mine I’d be thinking it’s a negative and test again in a couple more days (all my truly negative tests have had a faint line like that where the line would show if it was positive).

I know countless couples who took ages to get pregnant with their first, even going through IVF, and then it’s like their body gets rebooted and they have a surprise baby a year later. Happens a lot. Good luck!

berksandbeyond · 19/11/2022 09:18

You're very fertile after giving birth. That does look positive to me. Remember you do have options x

I had the tiniest amount of spotting yesterday and the day before, I had that with DD and it set off alarm bells. I’m also not always 100% regular, especially post birth.

I feel exactly like you and my first is 11 months. I have proper mum guilt about getting pregnant again!

But congratulations! I’m going down the route of thinking it will be lovely for him to have a sibling, even if they are close in age and it’s tough for a while!

NewMum0305 · 19/11/2022 09:48

I can see it in both photos. Congratulations OP xx

Congratulations! The guilt is off the scale isn’t it. But I agree, it will be lovely for him to have a close sibling. And if I AM pregnant (I will update), then maybe that’s true for my DD too

I can see a line in all of your pictures. My line like that was 9 yesterday!

Congratulations 🥳

ajandjjmum · 19/11/2022 10:05

15 months between my two, and although it was jolly hard work when they were small, it was great as they grew - both at the same 'stage', so we were able to do things that were appropriate/appealed to both.

Still remember them both lying down on the nappy change conveyor though!

Take good care of yourself.

Prettypaisleyslippers · 19/11/2022 10:11

I can see the line. Do another tomorrow with first wee?

congratulations!! I’ve been where you are, it’s exciting and scary. Especially after losses and long time to conceive first

OnyxandObsidian · 19/11/2022 10:21

I can see something x

rainbowstardrops · 19/11/2022 10:28

I can see a line on all of the photos. I hope all turns out how you'd like it to.

Decaffe · 19/11/2022 13:10

There is a line and it is exactly where it should be.

That said, FRER have been absolutely awful for a good few months. Second lines are now visible on the unused tests. The quality control has gone massively downhill. So, it could simply be the visible-yet-not-a-positive test line.

These days I think a lot of people are saving their money and using the 10iu easy@home tests. Only slightly less sensitive than FRER and a heck of a lot cheaper.

TheTeddyBears · 19/11/2022 13:20

It's def there. My dh was the same, I kept getting results like that for a week and well after the time frame the line would appear. He kept saying it's not positive so I bought a digital one and he was shocked!

TwigTheWonderKid · 19/11/2022 13:22

I can see a line.

And fwiw OP there are 3.5 years between my first and much-wanted second child and I felt terrible guilt when I found out I was pregnant and even more just before DS2 was born. I think that's normal whatever the age gap. And actually at 3.5 years old it was clear that DS1 was not particularly impressed by having to share me but your daughter will have no memory of life before their sibling arrived so in a way, that's better I think.

SheWoreARaspberryBeret123 · 19/11/2022 13:24

I can see one line.

gogohmm · 19/11/2022 13:26

I can see a line but then I can see a line on the unused tests, it's where the paper is treated to produce the test. I would retest in a week then think about it, no point worrying so early

Peterpiperpickedapepper · 19/11/2022 13:26

I’ve had some hideous evaps on FRER this month. I had one that looked just like that
