I've posted on another thread but didn't want to derail so made my own.

I've just taken the second lot of tablets internally and I am absolutely terrified of what's going to happen!

I've had no bleeding so far just cramps.
I can take some ibuprofen at 2.15 and codine at 4.15 again plus I feel really sick now but I'm not sure if that's my anxiety.

Is there anyone who's free to keep me company while I have to go through this, I literally am thinking all sorts, to I'm going to bleed to death to I'm going to see something horrendous when I pass something 😭

P.S @ohdoriswheresthesalad yeah I would have thought that some bleeding must indicate that SOMETHING is happening down there surely!? God I wish it was Wednesday for you already so we could get you some answers and peace of mind. Hugs 💜 Here whenever you need us xx

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 30/08/2020 10:07

I don't know if i can cope any longer with this sickness!!! My anti sickness pills do absolutely nothing, it's literally as soon as I open my eyes!

If the first tablet stopped the pregnancy why haven't the symptoms gone away yet? I took the first tablet Tuesday

And to top it all off I think I have a raging urine infection, my lower back is so painful I hardly slept all night with the pain and needing a wee/burning sensation 😩

I am not coping AT ALL!

@hillarypcof @Elephants12345 @bornninthe80s

I'm sorry you didn't have a great night @hillarypcof bless you, do you feel a bit better now?

OP posts:
ohdoriswheresthesalad · 31/08/2020 18:20

Thought I'd update in case anyone is wondering -

I'm still being sick, still feeling nauseous. Bleeding has pretty much come to a standstill. I've phoned bpas again and they just said to wait until Wednesday for the scan.

It's absolutely torture, I don't understand how and why I'm still being sick/nauseous if the first tablet which ends the pregnancy has worked? It's been a week tomorrow since I took the first tablet and I've pretty much spent every day in bed feeling absolutely rotten.

How is this fair!

bornninthe80s · 31/08/2020 20:28

It's not fair at all. Roll on weds🙏🏼 how has work been? Been thinking of you @ohdoriswheresthesalad x

bornninthe80s · 31/08/2020 20:34

Can't understand why you are still feeling so sick. Horrible :( I've actually been for a couple of jogs since the tablets and feel quite nauseous after that which freaked me a bit that it's not worked - I'm going in for a scan this week too as although I did pass a few clots on Monday I'm not convinced it was enough especially for a twin preg. Need the peace of mind.

X

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 31/08/2020 20:46

Work hasn't been too bad I've had to pop off a few times to vomit, I find i get to a point where I'm hungry and then I'm sick sick sick for hours after even if I eat.

I can't understand.

Oh bless you're heart @bornninthe80s how far along was you again? Xx

OP posts:
bornninthe80s · 31/08/2020 20:52

@hillarypcof @bornninthe80s @Elephants12345

Update for you ladies :

I'm still pregnant. 8 weeks and 4 days. Treatment didn't work, still a heartbeat.

Booked in for later in September for a D&C.

Absolutely heartbroken and just speechless at the moment.

Elephants12345 · 02/09/2020 10:32

I’m so so sorry that you’re having to go through this.
I’ve been thinking of you and hoping for good news. Can’t even imagine how you must be feeling right now, sending lots of love xx

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 02/09/2020 10:34

@Elephants12345 I just don't know what to say do or anything.

I guess I'm just the unlucky 3% hey?

The sickness hasn't stopped either clearly know why now Sad

OP posts:
bornninthe80s · 02/09/2020 11:05

That's insane.

I am so sorry you're going through this. It's good that you know now and that you have an appointment booked although why they're not seeing you sooner I can't understand.

Also been thinking of you and wondering what the update is. Here always for a virtual hand hold x

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 02/09/2020 13:36

Apparently the clinic near me only does the surgery once every 2 weeks, tomorrow was too soon so it's in 2 weeks time. @bornninthe80s

It's awful, when she said there was still a heartbeat 💔 broke my heart into a million pieces.

OP posts:
Elephants12345 · 02/09/2020 14:44

I know you do hear of these things but don’t ever expect to be one of the few 3% 😔
I found the whole process one of the hardest things I’ve been through so I can’t even imagine how you must feel right now given how things have gone for you, Sending you lots of strength and love x

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 02/09/2020 15:27

I'm terrified about having the procedure, it's a local anaesthetic and sedation so I'll be awake, I feel like it's going to be so traumatic to know what they're doing but no option to have a general.

And I've got to go 2 weeks knowing I'm still pregnant 💔 @Elephants12345

OP posts:
bornninthe80s · 02/09/2020 21:13

Can only imagine @ohdoris ☹️ are they offering you counselling in the interim and also as part of your aftercare? Please do use it if you can, this must be horribly traumatic xx

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 02/09/2020 21:16

@bornninthe80s No nothing was mentioned today? I didn't think to ask to be honest, I think I was in shock.

I will ask tomorrow when they phone up to assess the risks why's and what for of the surgical treatment. Thank you xx

OP posts:
ohdoriswheresthesalad · 02/09/2020 21:18

Also I can't get any of my trousers on, I'm super bloated? I can't be showing at 8 weeks surely?

OP posts:
bornninthe80s · 02/09/2020 21:44

Yes please do ask otherwise there is a crisis helpline you can call and immediately speak to someone. I was offered up to 6 sessions of aftercare counselling with Marie Stopes (I've used one so far - feel okay atm but they say there's no time limit on the sessions. 30 mins on the phone at a pre-arranged time. If anyone deserves it, you do! Xx

ZAK3 · 02/09/2020 23:08

@ohdoriswheresthesaladbeen Hiya following this thread as i pretty much do with all of them as I massively struggled after having mine last year & to be honest I still am 😓, cannot imagine how you are feeling but can i just say one thing to maybe put your mind at rest, I didn’t want to do medical & also didn’t want general so I had surgical with conscious sedation & yes i was even sobbing as the surgeon read out my details just before it started but it was OK, you just feel very woozy ( nurses likened it to having a good few drinks ) I did hear a loud noise etc but felt very surreal & was over very very quickly & then you are reunited with whoever you have brought with you & given hot chocolate & biscuits , the waiting was the hard part & I almost felt it was too much easy , i was 9 weeks, i hope your doing as well as you possibly can in this awful situation 💗

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 03/09/2020 09:30

@ZAK3 thank you for your message.

Can I pm you with a few questions I have if you don't mind and it's not too traumatic for you to talk about? Xx

OP posts:
ohdoriswheresthesalad · 03/09/2020 10:01

I've just had the phone call early and it's made me feel worse.
I don't think I've ever been so terrified in my life.

Why is this happening to me 💔💔

@bornninthe80s @Elephants12345 @hillarypcof @ZAK3

OP posts:
bornninthe80s · 03/09/2020 10:04

What phone call @ohdoriswheresthesalad ? X

ohdoriswheresthesalad · 03/09/2020 10:16

I had to have a phone call from bpas again to go through the risks, what happened during the procedure etc.

17th September, 2 weeks today. @bornninthe80s

OP posts:
ohdoriswheresthesalad · 03/09/2020 10:20

It's the whole I'll be awake and aware of what's going on I'm scared about.

My choice has been taken away from me, she offered the tablets again but only a 35% success rate. Given the 97% success rate last time, I don't hold out much hope for that, plus if it doesn't work again I'm still in the same position again - still pregnant when I don't want to be, still being sick still having nausea.

I can not cope anymore I really can't. How am I going to get through 2 more weeks knowing all this? I know I sound very woe is me and there's worse things to happen to people but right at this moment I feel like I could just sleep for the next 2 weeks until it's over. @bornninthe80s
