Sorry hoops, I thought maybe you had tried it all already. You will get there in the end and it is a good thing that you are 2cm. I am willing you to dilate (that sounds a bit odd does it?) . Keep us updated, SB

Blimey hoops that sounds like a nightmare! Poor you I really thought that minihoops would have made his appearance by now. It must be so frustrating for you. I hope he decides to arrive naturally in the next few days.

spotgate update - bit more this morning - but saw doctor and she has refered me to EPU for scan, she wasn't really able to provide me with many assurances but she said the midwives would be much better placed to advise me. They can't fit me in until tomorrow ... but at least then I have an appointment

so back in the office trying to concentrate

Hiya, thanks to tfls and meita for setting my mind at rest over the dwindling sickness, its crazy, anyone else would be pleased! and I dont think we'll get another dog meita, not yet, hopefully im going to have my hands full with my two teenagers, toddler, and baby! (and my two cats and dog!)
cheepz good luck with your scan, and look foreward to your update on minicheepz, oh and ten and a half pounds baby, wow, that deserves respect I had trouble with my last one at nine pounds eleven!
hoops wishing you some progress in your labour, we all thought you were sat at home, babe in arms too busy to post! Poor you!

Hi All.YEH!!!!!! another successful scan they measured me at 13 weeks, 4 days but EPU said stick to my orginal dates soo i ll be 13 weeks tomorrow....

Saw "everything" hands,feet,nose,etc...... all good .Phew.Only 2 more injections to go.Got pictures .OMG think its going to hit me in the next couple of weeks that i m actually pregnant!!!!

i have had a very mixed 24 hrs. my friend rang who is 14wks pregnant to say that her nuchal scan has given a 1 in 80 chance of baby having downs.....she is very upset and angry and is having a CVS next week to find out for sure. She is very clear that she does not want a child with difficulties such as downs and i am erally struggling with that as i just don't think we have the right to choose....i don't want to be her sounding board in many respects as obv i am feeling very unobjective for one and also the thought of her aborting at 15/16 wks is horrifying to me, given what i have gone through to get to 15/16 wks....oh its just so miserable for her....and i want to be a good friend but just feel a bit, i don't even know how, about it all....

then my lovely little Bob slipped on a ball at afterschool club and hit his face on the corner of a low brick wall....i literally ran from home, bundled him up to a and e and four stitches and a pile of glue later he kinda looks human again....very bruised, sore, swollen and a bit elephant man like. He had a concussion so slept in our room in a bed on the floor....can't have him in bed with me....he is like a kangaroo....a bony kangaroo.....

soooo heres hoping today is a better day....

boodle that's really a difficult situation to be in. I think you should let her know how you feel - if she is using you as a sounding board, maybe it's because subconsciously she wants to hear your opinion? Just tell her that whatever she decides, you will be there for her, but this is what you feel. Or something like that.
At the end of the day, 1 in 80 is not soooo much risk. It's still 79 in 80 that everything is fine. So it's MOST likely that it will turn out to be nothing.
Hope your Bob recovers quickly, give him lots of cuddles!

more bleeding this morning and not just associated with BM and looking more like pinky brown dc that I had when I had mc rather than slight spotting

honestly i am terrified, i feel sick, i want to cry and i am so scared they are going to tell me they cant see a heartbeat.

i have 2 hours to wait and i don't know what to do with myself - am sat at desk but can't focus at all.

my best friend at work has her 12 weeks scan at the same hospital 2 hours after mine and I know hers is going to be fine, I am so jealous, she has 2 kids and this one is an accident that just happened, its so easy for some people ....

cheepz thinking of you - I know the waiting is truly awful. I hope all turns out fine. Will tune in later for news. A virtual squash and a squeeze for you.

Hello to everyone else.

Poo - gynae just rung to say that he's havingto move my ELCS to Tuesday at 10h instead of Monday. He's got to do an operation on Monday for a woman with advanced ovarian cancer. Obviously that's much more urgent than me, but I was all psyched up for Monday, so can't help but feel a little disappointed. Still, only 3 days to go I guess.

worst news. no heartbeat. silent mc. baby stopped growing last week. erpc next wednesday if nothing natural happens in the interim.

realised today is the day my first mc baby would have been due.

Oh Cheepz, that is so sad, I'm really sorry.

We all want so much for this to go right for ourselves and for everyone else who is on here, we've been through enough already.

As someone else who has spotted all through this, and the last pg, I know how gutted you must feel, it's so hard to stay positive.
