Hello,
freezing and cheepz I hope you are holding up. It's a tough time, and the grief can kick in unexpectedly... I'm in awe at your positive outlook cheepz. Freezing, of course, do hang about as long as it feels right to you.
Boodle I love your girl name... (sorry, not snooping after you, just chanced across your thread). Our baby will need an r-free name, as I can't pronounce the letter "r" properly, especially in German; and as our families are all Swiss German, it matters that the name makes sense in both languages.
Lee is your scan coming up? All the best for it! Everything crossed!
My 20w-scan today was fine. I had been just a teeny bit worried, as recently I somehow haven't been feeling pregnant anymore. I've been forgetting my multivits (forgot them more often in the last 10 days than in the previous year!), I nearly forgot about the scan... But accordingly I wasn't very worried at all, because my mind was simply otherwise occupied.
And it turned out that everything is as it should be, which is obviously very good news! Placenta is anterior which makes it hard to hear baby's heartbeat (we listen in by stethoscope, but have never heard anything obvious yet) and explains why I'm never sure of feeling kicks etc. yet. But I'm not complaining!
Next thing I'm looking forward to is a great, 16-days holiday in Mauritius, it's a bit like a honeymoon except that we're not married The sun is shining and I'm feeling good.
But now I have to get back to work... pressing deadlines, once again.
