I have done two tests the past couple of days both very faint +ves. Just wanted to be the first person here! Have changed my usual name as it's such early days yet...

Read your message this morning but couldn't reply because computer keyboard broken and had to go to office with dd to get it fixed and so now can reply. Don't worry, like you told me you can't have a false positive. It may just be that there was less hormone that time. My first response was very clear but my clear blue the cross was fainter but still def there. Hope you are ok. It will all be fine xxxx Cyber hugs

oops, got a bit carried away !

Just a bit tm!!! I am getting more and more restless by the day, well by the hour actually. I want to feel how I did with my first not like the last one. I have had bad headacj=he for 2 days now, as with the last but I suppose this is hormonal headache. I think I've convinced myself that I would be very lucky to go past 12 weeks with this. I'm so negative today, so sorry all but I can't help it! Lewei, you little pig you!!! Pizza sounds good. I've totally gone off beans, can smell like a chemical, plasticy taste. Also can't drink out of our glasses - they smell funny too, bring on the symptoms!!!!!!

Off to the docs to confirm at 4.10, for some reason I am nervous!! I think I am worried I am going to get a disaproving look cos my ds is only 7 months....Silly I know

Quackers you will be fine im sure they are just symptoms of hormones and im sure it doesn't mean it will be like the last. Understand totally how you feel though and worry I feel the same, keep worrying. DD is being the child from hell today. Do you think she knows ? Do you think she's trying to scare me off !!!???!!

Thanks TM, you're going to be great to have a round and hope I'll be the same for you. Funnily enough I've had the same treatment from my DD, she's 3 in August and a right bossy boots!!! Maybe she senses I've gone soft! Been a right pain in Tesco and I hate making a fuss when we're out. She's colouring at the moment, happy for now. I still hvae the twinges where implantation was so hope all is well. I'm not going to the Doc's till Tues so till then!!! They should give me an early scan too in about 3 weeks or so with any luck.

Quackers im sure you will, in fact you already have. It's so exciting to be due same time of course assuming all goes well and I don't want to get too excited until I know all is well.
Well my dd, darling little Tilly, the toddler from hell today !!!! She is normally such a little angel and was so whingey today it was a nightmare. I felt tired, had terrible heartburn and felt ssoooooooooo HORMONAL. Is anyone else like that, I argued first thing with some silly b*h from a fireplace company then twice with the sweet male doctors receptionist then once with DH ! What's wrong with me. I feel so depressed one minute and ratty the next and happy the next. Hell this is going to be fun !

Bless you, I got it!! I'm really hormonal too. Depressed one minute and the next I'm as happy as larry! I fell out too with DH cos he had to work late, which doesn't often happen but I wanted some fuss! He is really holding back on this pg. He is obviously well chuffed but is trying not to get too excited until he's happy its going ok. Can't blame him I suppose. So how are you today? I feel bloated but have lost a couple of pounds. which I could do with. I am 19 pounds heavier than with my DD. That wasn;'t put on due to pg though, just not being able to go the gym anymore.
I couldn't finish my dinner last night, tasted bland and didn't know what I fancied. Going out tonight for DHs birthday on Sunday. Can't drink but will be eating tons of chinese to make up. I'll probably have one and drive.
TM when are you going to Doc's? I have an appointment Tues but not with my doctor. She is away for another 2 weeks or so. I can't decide wether to leave it till she gets back or chance the other one!

Just back from the nurse after removing a slice of finger with one of my new ultra sharp knives. Good start to the morning!!!!!!!!!
The hormones are doing a fantastic job little Bo Peep one minute and godzilla the next. Especially when dp makes any moves in the big giant, sore nippled boob direction!!!!!!
I made spag bol last night, didn't make alot(but had loads of garlic in it) so i was on the gaviscon at 2am. Oh but it was worth it.
Quackers, i have banned pizza from the house, i obviously cannot be trusted with one!!!!
Poor dp keeps looking at me like a lost puppy, he is feeling very neglected because we aren't allowed to have sex and i think the giant boobs are making him worse. I have given him lovely massages and lots of cuddles, he didn't have a sex drive like this when it was on the menu anytime. It must be a case of the forbidden fruit tasing better.

Couldn't eat my brekkie, tasted like cardboard, then cakes and pasties at work, I never normall have them but I was hungry and that tasted like cardboard too! With ds the sexy hormones kicked in at four months, poor dp was exhausted. i think he is living in hope of these hormones making another appearance!!
I had rice crispies and a slice of toast for breakfast, it was ok, a bit tasteless.
I totally agree with you, a curry is what is needed. lots of spice and flavour, Yummmmm.

The finger is fine, at least i didn't cut any off this time ( top of thumb had to be stitched back on twice,when i was training, many moons ago)
I am really quite bored now, dp goes spare if i use the hoover or change curtains, i think he would like to wrap me in cotton wool for the next seven months.
So i am left with washing, dusting and cooking. I shouldn't complain it is a treat really!!!!!!!!
The weather has gone totaly crap, it is pouring but hot, if you know what i mean.

Hey girlies ! I am not feeling too bad today. Def hormonal and bad heartburn apart from that ok though. Eating not too much of a problem at moment. Went to docs last night and it was pretty crap. I have to go next Wednesday to antenatal class which is one of my work days, bummer !!! Quackers, are you sure your dh and mine aren't the same person !!!!! My dh also very reserved and not saying much except when I talk about the future reminding me to be cautious ! Happy bunch aren't they ?! Really missing the booze. Will probably have a glass at the weekend. Last time didn't drink for 6 months. Going to relax a bit this time.

I am tired and p**sed off today. Being pg with a 7 month old who has started teething this week is about as much fun as having your knickers stuffed with stinging nettles!

He's finally just gone off (after waking at 5.30am) so I am going back to bed, and will be called a lazy cow by my dp when he gets in at 12, which will go down very well, I can tell you.

My dp is trying very hard to contain his excitement, i know he is trying to be Mr supportive for me, but i also know that he is scared that the same thing will happen to us again. He keeps asking the same questions over and over again. Any pain? Any bleeding? Boobs sore? Bless him!!!!!!
Determined that i am not even going to look at anything babyish until 20wks, i have everything anyway, just need to unpack it all. We had bought everything for ds by 28wks.
I feel that i would be tempting fate if i even glanced at a baby mag or looked at a babygro.

No I'm the same Lewi. My Mum bought a little jacket for a new born ages ago and I can't get it out or buy a magazine or buy anything actually! I suppose you just want less hurt if something went wrong. Here's hoping we all have healthy babies. I think its amazing Mumsnet. Poeple can't believe I do this!!! Well Quackers, doc didn't say much at all ! Got to be asked all the questions and have a check during the antenatal class next week. It think it's just their way of palming people off ! I work part time, Marketing Mgr for an IT consultancy. Dull
I work Tues and Weds in the office and Friday's normally from home, suits me well. Will probably keep working same when we have No2 (assuming all goes well). Need the money for heinous mortgage !!
So we're all missing the booze ! We'll have to go for big booze up once they are old enough to leave with dadies ! How did the scan go Lewei ? I am the same as you ladies I am not going to tempt fate. Will probably start prepping nearer time. Is anyone going to find out sex ? I didn't last time but am tempted this time.

What a coincidence Quackers ! What line of business ? Good idea I will have a bath and nice food ( no doubt lots of consolation chocolate) and get a video. Financial services - boring, people with lots of money wanting to put it offshore. (I live offshore). You're as bad as me with the tests!! I have just found a website about hcg levels and it says theyare still quite low but is doubling every day. A week from now it should be hugs and by week 8 it peaks. Geek aren;t I. Doesn't make me feel any better. I did a test at 15 weeks last time and it was very strong. I had m.carried 7 weeks before but was yet to find out. Every pg is diff though! Thats sounds nice this eve!
I will prob finish work if this one goes on to be ok. I only get 4 months maternity at best. Its really crap so I don't think there's much point with what will be a 3 year old and a 3/4 month old!!

In some ways I wish I could stop but in others dont, I get paid well and they are flexible so I guess I shouldn't complain. Where do you live ?
I feel really nauseous today. Have you got that hcg website address ? Do they know at your office yet ? I love that knowing but its such a big secret and they are all in the dark !
