Following the success of this thread in "Conception" I thought I would share its cathartic qualities here in "Pregnancy" too.

I'll give you a starter for ten:

Tigress has no symptoms at 6 weeks except for exceptionally sore nipples

See, you can't write THAT on Facebook!

shyla01 that's the point so you can vent in the privacy of MN! Bring on the statuses you wish you could write.

Tigress has an early scan tomorrow, just one baby please!

Thinking of you Tigress.

shyla01 · 17/07/2009 14:29

thanks tigress

so stressed and i am not even 4 wks yet. af not due til tomorrow.

hope your scan went well.

Tigresswoods · 17/07/2009 17:46

Tigress is wondering why no one told her that an early scan in an internal?!

Tigress saw a little flickering heart beat of her first tiger cub this morning

Tigress's DH now believes that there is going to be a baby. Duh!

OP posts:
Tigresswoods · 17/07/2009 17:47

Oh and...

Tigress is pleased to say that there was just the one tiny flickering heart beat and not 2 Clomid babies (also have non-identical siblings so potentially high risk!)

shyla01 · 17/07/2009 17:56

aww thats nice tigress congrats

shyla is wondering how many more sticks she will have to pee on before she finally believes she is pregnant.

Deemented · 17/07/2009 19:02

Tigress Aww - am so happy for you!!!

GuernseyFrench · 17/07/2009 19:06

GF is not lazy but tired and suffers from a blocked sciatic nerve!

AngelaCarleen · 18/07/2009 13:09

Sorry Tigress, I knew that early scan would probably be an internal, I'm sure I posted that I'd had one somewhere on here a few weeks ago though (I had prior warning so 'titied' myself up a bit first, ). How uncomfortable are they?!?!

AngelaCarleen is loving being comfy in maternity jeans even though she's only nine weeks and really enjoyed seeing her baby give a wriggle yesterday (and not as my mother thought through my skin, but on a scan, stoopid woman )

Tigresswoods · 18/07/2009 17:08

Tigress just aches all over and can't be arsed. Almost 8 weeks and feeling floloppy

OP posts:
sydneysuze · 18/07/2009 17:15

Sydney is marvelling at just how damp a pair of knickers can get

Arcadie · 18/07/2009 17:51

Arcadie is sad for missing friends' wedding but simply could not pull herself off couch.

Boodlerpoop · 18/07/2009 18:48

Boodlerpoop is sick of people texting her to ask if she has had the baby yet.

Boodlerpoop · 18/07/2009 18:49

Boodlerpoop also hates the whingy girl at work who is five months pregnant and thinks that means everyone should do her work for her. Including Boodlerpoop.

Tigresswoods · 18/07/2009 21:50

boodlerpoop my friend had that annoying, "Have you had it yet" communications. She was a bit like, "I WOULD have mentioned it..."

Tigress aches and is generally pooped.

Thandeka · 19/07/2009 12:44

Thandeka (Ms. Sexual Health Professional/not embarrassed by anything) is freaked out by her friend saying "oooh you could have a mini penis growing in you right now"

Thandeka has done her back in and it hurrrrrtttssssss.

AngelaCarleen · 19/07/2009 13:28

Thandeka that is a bit freaky, I'd never thought of it like that before

AngelaCarleen thinks her Bean is very clever for timing this so she can have two whole christmas' off work (am a nurse, this would just never happen)!! I'm so excited about it!!

Tigresswoods · 19/07/2009 22:03

Tigress is 8 weeks tomorrow and is absolutely dying to tell the whole world!!!!
(but does also love the fact that her and DH have a secret from the world)

OP posts:
GracieGirl · 20/07/2009 10:17

Gracie is back from Edinburgh and thinks her Bean loved dancing to Duran Duran at Edinburgh castle!

Gracie agrees with Angela that managing to get 2 whole Christmas' and New Years off work is fantastic stuff!!! (also a nurse and only had 1 New year off in 8 years!)

GracieGirl · 20/07/2009 12:48

GracieGirl would like to give someone from the Department of Health a big sloppy kiss!!

I'm not allowed to go back to work till they find me an an office job to go to, in the mean time I get to sit at home! I'm an A&E Sister so impossible to hide from the Pig Flu in my current job.

Angela not sure what dept you work in but this DOH article on healthcare workers might be helpful Look at 4.4

Tigresswoods · 20/07/2009 12:50

Tigress should not have done the 5k Race for Life yesterday even if it was just walking. Totally cream crackered today.

Tigress is 8 weeks today and doesn't know how she is going to keep schtum for the next 4 weeks!?!?!

OP posts:
AngelaCarleen · 20/07/2009 20:31

Gracie you are a clever sausage! Where in the UK are you? I'm in scotland, not sure if that makes any difference but I will be showing my wd sister, clinical manager and director of nursing (all on ward tomorrow) that document in the morning!! I work on a childrens ward btw.

AngelaCarleen was very embarrassed this morning when a colleague rubbed Angela's tummy and said 'Ooooh Angela'. Actually I'm only nine weeks, that's just fat

GracieGirl · 20/07/2009 21:29

Angela I'm East Midlands. I forgot to mention, that you should inform your employer in writing that you're pregnant before they can implement any pig flu changes to your job.

mamalove2 · 20/07/2009 21:35

i know im a bit late but i LOVE this thread.......
my facebook status would be ... mamalove2 would just like to tell the other pregnant "friend of friend" to stop fecking lying and admit that pregnancy and children is feck all like ok/hello magazine.

Thandeka · 21/07/2009 09:24

Thandeka threw up last night and got a piece of sweetcorn stuck in her throat it was minging and stuck there all night. Seems to be gone this morning. Thankfully.

Thandeka is almost 12 weeks and wants the sickness to go away now. It has eased but it is still there.
