Following the success of this thread in "Conception" I thought I would share its cathartic qualities here in "Pregnancy" too.

I'll give you a starter for ten:

Tigress has no symptoms at 6 weeks except for exceptionally sore nipples

See, you can't write THAT on Facebook!

itsalwaysthequietones · 06/07/2009 16:20

Itsalways would like to think that her absurd mood swings and all round slovenliness are down to pregnancy hormones but secretly fears she has just turned into a lazy, miserable, ungrateful old crone

hackneybird · 06/07/2009 17:23

'Hackneybird has just done a really satisfying poo'.

Sorry, couldn't resist .

Tigresswoods · 06/07/2009 20:06

Hackneybird if this was real Facebook I would be "liking" your status!

hackneybird · 07/07/2009 10:39

I think I've killed the thread though Tigress!

Thandeka · 07/07/2009 11:57

Thandeka just had a good scan and emby is 28mm and therefore 7 times the size of the one she miscarried at 10 weeks. She is only 9.5 weeks but she isn't so scared about losing it anymore as her MC risk has apparently dropped to 1% now. Fingers crossed.

Tigresswoods · 07/07/2009 17:48

Tigress is so pleased for Thandeka having followed her story for weeks now. Very good news on the 1% front.

Tigress feels (apprehensively) a little tired and a little sick, is this because she thinks she should do by now or because she actually is?

OP posts:
Blondie89 · 07/07/2009 19:36

This is a brilliant idea! None of my friends have had babies yet so I cant post how I feel for fear of completly putting them off ever pro creating. Blondie is completly beached on top of a huge pile of pillows but has a violent urge to pee!

Bump02 · 08/07/2009 08:39

Bump02 wants to smash DP face in for being a prat and sticking his head up his own arse

LOL

God I'm grumpy this morning sorry hee hee!!

MamaLazarou · 08/07/2009 09:38

MamaLazarou doesn't understand why people on FB become fans of 'I Love My Kids'. Surely it's taken as read that you love your kids? What are you trying to prove? And how can you be a fan of 'I love so-and-so' anyway?

Thandeka · 08/07/2009 10:17

Thandeka is back at work for the first time in 4 and a half weeks and is a bit freaked out by everyone smiling at her.

AngelaCarleen · 08/07/2009 13:51

Thinks maybe she should have taken the occy health lady up on her offer and stopped doing nights, who new morning, noon and night sickness would be worse actually overnight?

AngelaCarleen · 08/07/2009 13:53

or that being pregnant would mean I couldn't spell 'knew'

Tigresswoods · 08/07/2009 20:23

Tigress may actually be growing boobs for the first time in ther life.

bohemianbint · 08/07/2009 20:26

there is one person in particular on mine who does not hold back anything in her updates.

Sometimes, it's mildly amusing, other times it's just a bit grim...

Tigresswoods · 08/07/2009 20:37

bohemianbint Top FB tip- you can hover next to that person's update (right hand side) and choose to hide their status updates. Something I did quite a lot of when TTC and fed up with reading about other people's pregnancy or new baby.

OP posts:
Thandeka · 08/07/2009 21:24

Thandeka has worked out that if this pregnancy works out she will have been gestating for 12 months! (10weeks last pregnancy- 2 weeks after MMC pregnant again!)

Only me!

crankytwanky · 08/07/2009 22:42

cranky has been knocked up one month before her wedding despite having one falopian tube, still breast feeding and using a diaphragm. So she won't be drinking on her hen night. Or fitting into her dress. Whoop-de-freaking-do.

pyjamababe · 09/07/2009 21:17

jeepers cranky you are the most fertile person i ever heard of!

mamalazarou - was just on FB and found a friend who has become a fan of 'I love my daughter' - so LOL at your post - was hiding her updates while TTC and think i may just go back to that until she gets over herself, or my baby arrives and i become just as sad...

anyhow - pyjamababe is wondering why the ante-natal clinic haven't seen her yet even though last period was april so surely should have had scan by now??? don't they like me? think i will ring them tomorrow and investigate!

AngelaCarleen · 10/07/2009 17:44

Don't let the kitten sit on your tummy when your pregnant in case it harms the baby? Are you serious, you nutter!! (that piece of advice was given to me by someone at work )

Thandeka · 10/07/2009 21:05

Thandeka just vomited and then burst into tears- conclusion- Thandeka is probably still pregnant at 10weeks 1day the same stage/day she miscarried her last pregnancy at in April. Thandeka is relieved despite the acidic bile burning the back of her poor throat!

Tigresswoods · 11/07/2009 15:31

Tigress is holding her small but sore boobs as she runs to the loo

OP posts:
JasHook · 11/07/2009 20:39

JasHook has calmed down entirely and is going to have a stress-free hippy-style pregnancy with windchimes, meditation, organic yoghurt and yoga.**Disclamer: this has not happened.

Thandeka · 12/07/2009 10:12

Thandeka retches at the thought of organic yoghurt. Unhealthy Chocolate mousse on the other hand.....

Thandeka is worried about the health of her foetus (for it is one now!) given the crap she is fueling her body with. Anything healthy makes her vom!

CurlyCasper · 12/07/2009 16:15

Curly has no baby in her belly yet but recommends anyone newly pregnant or planning a pregnancy reads this thread to get the truth about PG and be prepared for the pee, puke, pain and phychological mishaps.

or

Curly would like to tell work to shove it because although she loves her job she's much more interested in trying to plan a pregancy which, even with the best of luck, she won't be telling anyone about until December.

chamoiscreased · 12/07/2009 17:53

Chamois wishes the few people she has told had just said 'congratulations' instead of making stupid comments. Like 'oh, was it planned?' 'oh dear' and 'well you will probably miscarry anyway'

Chamois would like to tell everyone at work that she doesn't give two hoots any more because this baby is far more important.

Chamois wishes the health visitor would stop looking at her as if she's mad to have even considered another baby! and asking her patronisingly if she's coping...

Chamois is a little bit bitter at the moment
