Starting a new thread and hope it will fill up in the next few weeks

I am a bit nervous starting this group as I am still SO early, only just testing positive this morning at 9DPO, ive taken 3 tests just to be sure. Hoping for a sticky bean, I am not a stranger to chemical pregnancies so really keeping everything crossed, its so nerve wracking!

I've gone off 'conception date' rather than LMP as I ovulate late, and for me, its more accurate - this brings me to due date 1st August 2026.

If others would like, I can start a Facebook group, maybe in a few weeks, I found the group sooo useful with my first little one! Let me know 🥰

hi ladies, unfortunately I had confirmation of a MMC today, after the past 4 weeks of scans and uncertainty and stuck in limbo, I’m just glad to finally have an answer tbh.

Oh my goodness, I am so so sorry. But, I am glad they've caught it and will be able to offer treatment/support before any further damage. I really truly am sorry.

I am so sorry for your loss. That's such a long time to be caught in limbo.

@taysonic I've been for my scan and there was a heartbeat! Think I'm around 5 wk 5 days, need another scan in 2 weeks as there was an area they want to check in case of a second pregnancy! I'm so relieved x

So sorry for everyone who’s had so much uncertainty and also those who have had bad news.
We had a scan Christmas Eve and saw the heartbeat, at 6 weeks! That night bleeding started and bled all day Christmas Day as well! At first it was heavy and it’s been lighter today! Phoned my GP who called epu but they were already closed, so basically just been waiting and hoping I’ll get a call soon with an appointment!

I’ve briefly scanned through the thread and tentatively joining at 4w3d following an IVF embryo transfer on the 13th. I found out I was pregnant 5 days post embryo transfer so pretty early but I knew because my sense of smell had gone crazy. I did a test after coming home from the supermarket when I could smell everyone! I had a blood test done by the clinic on Monday to confirm so I feel like I’ve crossed the first hurdle.

This is my second IVF pregnancy - I have an almost 2 year old daughter. I’m 40 next year and after 8 years of TTC and IVF I’m hoping this pregnancy will complete our little family.

So sorry for those that have recently bowed out of the thread or dealing with bleeding and uncertainty. Early pregnancy can be such an awful rollercoaster and it feels like you’re on your own for these first few weeks.

@Peonies94 so awful that you're going through this and having to wait. Will they be able to see you tomorrow? I've got my fingers crossed for good news.

Hi all. Thought I’d join this group as I’m 8 weeks pregnant after multiple IVF rounds! Still doesn’t quite feel real although the nausea and fatigue help 🤣 anyone else at a similar stage?

@Lozzy000congrats!!! I’m 8+1 now ☺️ nausea and fatigue have me absolutely wiped these days! If it’s not the nausea, it’s the fatigue, and a lot of the times it’s both 😂😂 I can’t wait to feel better, but the second trimester seems so far away 😅

Hi! I am 7+4 today from the scan and 7+6 from LMP.
the symptoms have been up and down but when they are present they are fairly noticeable. My fatigue was peaking around Christmas.

Looked up some threads to join as my brain can't think about anything else atm. Currently 5 weeks + 2 with a due date of 28th August.

I've got a 2.5 year old son conceived naturally but this pregnancy was IVF and I'm finding the wait for a scan a lot more difficult this time around! Got an early viability scan booked on the 8th Jan. Counting down the hours 😂.

@Aquarius93 i am so sorry , sending so much love ❤️i came on to check how you were all doing. I am bleeding really quite heavily now and it’s now been 13 days! I’m back from holiday so going to go and get seen tomorrow morning. Tests are still coming back positive , mums literally just gone to get me a weeks one as the last one on holiday said 2-3 weeks and it should definitely say 3+ now. How is everyone doing?

has anyone ever had this before? It’s well and truly like a period to be honest but lasted nearly two weeks now? I do have pregnancy symptoms too- nausea especially . I had a very horrible dizzy spell
in holiday but only once. Has anyone ever had this for this long before? Xx

Hello all. Im tentatively joining as I’m not sure if im pregnant or not… keep getting positive tests AND negative tests so im in limbo lol. If I am pregnant it would be a MASSIVE shock as it is not something we planned already having two children. Feeling pretty petrified if I am honest as I have some post birth injuries following my second so Im worried how another pregnancy would impact me… I have no idea what DPO I am. I’m currently on cycle day 42 so would put me between 5 and 6 weeks. Not feeling any symptoms other than sore boobs but also telling myself my period is just late and may still be coming and its PMS 😂

Morning everyone, I hope you’ve all had a great Christmas and feel relatively okay! I’m sorry to hear of those experiencing losses.

Today I reach 6 weeks and it seems the sickness is kicking in, except I’m not being sick just the dying need to be! I’m cautious that I go back to work next week, I work for myself and luckily with newborn babies mostly, so I’m sure they’ll “get it” if I have to explain any trips to the toilet but it’s not very glamorous.

How are you all coping with sickness? I’m finding the folic acid is what’s making me feel awful in the morning, so I try to take it later and then I feel awful right before bed. My sickness kicked in around 6.5 weeks with my first, I thought I’d gotten lucky as I hadn’t felt too awful until the last day or two!

Private scan on Sunday which I can’t wait for, to make this all feel real ❤️

Morning @apt72 sorry about the sickness! I officially have hit 9 weeks but I think the dating scan will show a week or two less than that. Still can't believe I've got this far but still can't quite believe I'll get to term. I was way more nauseous with my others. I haven't been this time. Weird! Hope scan goes ok. Mines in 3 weeks
