Starting a new thread and hope it will fill up in the next few weeks

I am a bit nervous starting this group as I am still SO early, only just testing positive this morning at 9DPO, ive taken 3 tests just to be sure. Hoping for a sticky bean, I am not a stranger to chemical pregnancies so really keeping everything crossed, its so nerve wracking!

I've gone off 'conception date' rather than LMP as I ovulate late, and for me, its more accurate - this brings me to due date 1st August 2026.

If others would like, I can start a Facebook group, maybe in a few weeks, I found the group sooo useful with my first little one! Let me know πŸ₯°

How is everyone? Any symptoms yet?

Hi all I’m tentatively joining πŸ‘‹πŸΌ EDD is 2/8. This will be my third baby but I have a history of recurrent loss so it is actually my 9th pregnancy. Got my BFP at 8dpo and currently 14dpo. Line progression is looking good but I won’t get excited just yet will book in with the EPU for an early scan around 6/7 weeks and see how it goes 🀞🏼

Welcome and congratulations 🎊

Im so sorry to hear about your history its such a nerve wracking time but great news your progression is looking good so far! How old are your other children? I've got a 2.5 year old, its chaos but wouldn't change her for the world!

I've been feeling really nervous today. My nausea and fatigue have gone and I just don't feel pregnant which is making me panic! I don't remember if this happened before in previous successful pregnancies or not. I'm 5 weeks tomorrow.

I just took the other test left in the pack after yesterday's and the test line came up before the control line this time. I'd say it's almost a dye stealer?! So that has made me feel a teeny bit better.

Honestly I have had the exact same thoughts... I feel well fine?!

I know to enjoy it as if its anything like my last pregnancy I've got a loooot of vomiting to go! I think it started at around 7 weeks from memory

That's your dye stealer there!!! You can probably stop testing now, yay - how many dpo are you?

This is mine, around 16dpo

@BunnyWilliamsgosh everything crossed for you 🀞🏼 will the EPU see you for an early scan? The test looks good. I’ve had a range of symptoms come and go in various good/bad pregnancies. I find everything really starts hitting about 6 weeks and anything before then can really come and go. I dont have any symptoms other than tiredness.

@Sunnycrispwinterrobinthank you. I have 2 DS one is nearly 5 and the other is 18 months. I’ve just turned 40 so when hubby suggested another I was like right better get on that then especially with our history. The house is bonkers but I love it ❀️

PandaOrLion · 25/11/2025 20:43

Hello! Just joining after starting another thread without realising about this one.

I’m in the West Midlands and have DS (3 next week). It’s been almost two years of trying and due date is 5th August.

bigbaggyblue · 25/11/2025 21:08

Hello I’d like to join too please! I’m 9dpo and took a test this morning and got a faint line, tested again this evening and ever so slightly darker! I’ve got an ultra early digital to do in the morning 😁. I’m carefully so excited! This will be baby number 2, we’ve got a daughter who’s 2.5.

Can I join too πŸ™ I searched the Facebook group but I couldn’t find it πŸ˜…

im due 4th August based on the last period. I have a little boy who will be 2 in January :) these are my tests, the second from bottom was taken this morning which sent me in to a wobble but another test later this evening (bottom one) reassured me a little. This stage is so anxiety inducing. Grateful to be able to chat about it with others xx

Tentatively stepping in here! Another recurrent loss sufferer! I have 1 boy who will be 5 when little one hopefully arrives! Currently around 5 weeks, not exactly sure as this pregnancy was definitely a suprise, husband and I agreed we wouldn't put ourselves through a similar rollercoaster like we had for DS, but here we are! I'm 36 so definitely feeling on the older side. Photo was from Monday and got a 2-3 on a digital on Tuesday.

@Sunnycrispwinterrobinmy boobs hurt, breastfeeding my toddler isn’t fun πŸ˜‚ and I’ve had waves of very very mild nausea but that’s all. I would say I’m tired but I’m always tired so πŸ˜…. How about yourself?

Maybeanother · 27/11/2025 18:31

Can I join also? I had a vvvfl on a cheapy test earlier in the week and confirmed yesterday with a CB digital ultra early, due date is showing as 8th August. This is DC no.4 for me and all the others came early so could well be a July baby.
Currently feeling so very happy, but also a little nervous!

Tbh I feel pretty normal which is spooking me out, ive booked a scan when i am 8 weeks, the week before Xmas but it seems so long away!

I was so sick with my last pregnancy, I can't remember for the life of me when it started, maybe it was around 7 weeks?

Ahh ive just stopped breastfeeding my little girl, I only fed her around twice a day but I couldn't seem to get pregnant so I stopped it pretty abruptly, my hormones were WILD for around 5 weeks, I felt so ill but it seemed to have done the trick as month 2 of stopping I fell pregnant.

Same! I had terrible nausea with both times I've been pregnant before but can't remember when it started - I feel like by 5 weeks it had already but my brain might just be making things up for me to worry about!

We'll remember this in a couple of weeks when we feel awful πŸ˜‚

JennyTig · 27/11/2025 20:27

Definitely by 7-8 weeks I was in full all day nausea. The only thing which would make me feel better was greasy chippy chips.. which seems insane to me now but 100% I'll be back to that if nausea shows up.

I didn't actually throw up either time before but the nausea.. wow.. intense from what I remember. Felt like throwing up would be a relief (but actually isn't according to my best friend who was being sick through her first trimesters)

I was going to stop testing, but I’ve had some spotting on and off since 12DPO. Had bloods taken yesterday to check Hcg. Probably get the results Monday. And I’ve booked a scan for 22nd Dec when I’ll be 7+2.

also took a CB digital today and it has moved forward to 2-3 weeks from the 1-2weeks I had a few days ago. So going by the Pregnancy tests, Hcg seems fine. Spotting is just sooo unnerving!! I really hope it stops soon πŸ˜•
