Hey, anyone else due July 2026? I got my first faint positive at 10dpo on Thursday 23rd October, I’m now 14dpo/4 weeks pregnant. Feeling nervous as still very early my period was due tomorrow. I’ve booked an early scan for in a few weeks so hopefully everything is all good, now just an anxious wait

So sorry to anyone that’s had losses. My scan is the start of Jan and I’m terrified for another MMC. My sickness has been awful but I know that doesn’t always mean anything. Fingers crossed x

jw97 · 23/12/2025 20:04

So sorry @Tinytotdriver, sending love x

You’re allowed to be shocked and excited all at the same time! It’s a big deal 2 babies at once.

I remember telling my DH the same thing and I was right, although things didn’t work out for us and both babies passed at 10 weeks into my pregnancy it is such a shock to find out you are having 2.

We have a lovely 3 year old boy now and this pregnancy is a singleton.

Twins are such a blessing but you and DH are allowed to think WTF too xx

This was very encouraging. Thank you so much for this, and for sharing your experience. I'm glad things are in a better place and wish you a pleasant pregnancy.

Its a whirlwind of emotions. Sometimes I'm laughing, sometimes crying. I know things will work out in the end. It's just trials and tribulations between now and then. Thanks again x

SoftLaunch · 24/12/2025 16:32

Has anyone else found themselves feeling very emotional from the hormones? I've felt mentally well through the pregnancy so far but have spent today tearful and upset without an obvious cause. I've been ill for the last week so think it's maybe just layers of fatigue catching up with me but it's quite unnerving! I'm 10 weeks at the moment.

blossomhoney2 · 24/12/2025 16:42

Yes super emotional. I go on Instagram and basically cry at every reel where I see babies 🄹. Or any really sad news story I see. It’s crazy so totally get where you’re coming from @SoftLaunch

jw97 · 24/12/2025 19:41

@SoftLaunchI have been soooo emotional from the very beginning! Literally cried one day because I didn’t feel like having anything for dinner that we had in the house, but I didn’t want to get a takeaway šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚ I’m emotional about the most ridiculous things. I think it’s totally normal at this stage! It’ll settle down I think

Andrasa · 27/12/2025 19:24

Hope everyone made it through Christmas without feeling too rough!

Hotchocolateandmarsh · 28/12/2025 17:53

Can I join you guys? I’m technically 1st Aug but I know I will be induced earlier due to previous issue so will probably be July.

I am so nervous I will have another MMC so fully expecting no heart beat at the 12 week scan. Guess it’s a way of protecting myself. I’m so super nervous to have a third as our age gaps our bigger than we wanted but this is our last chance (decided we aren’t doing this again regardless of outcome)

@MrsWindrush @scottishGirl @Curiousrobin oh apologies! Not sure why that happened.

Is it possible to get a new link to this please? I think it’s expired

I’m in similar boat (though due other end of the month). MMC at 12 weeks in the summer. Had an 8 week scan this time and all was looking good. Dating scan next week (will be nigh on 14 weeks) and really starting to feel anxious about it

Gryffindoratheart · 29/12/2025 09:54

I’ve got my 12 week scan today (12w4d) and I’m so nervous about it, I’ve had scans at 6/7/8 weeks and seen a heartbeat at 7 and 8 weeks but I don’t think that nervous feeling ever goes away.

nekophoenix · 29/12/2025 10:20

Like others on this thread my next scan is coming up in 10 days and I am nervous about it. No history of MC and we were lucky to conceive quickly and no symptoms that are worrying me, but as things progress and I get towards a scan I find my nerves increase. Will feel better after next week!

I also wasn’t going to post this as it may be triggering, but it may an experience be shared by others: I keep having really grim dreams about the pregnancy and birth with disastrous outcomes. It is affecting my sleep and really frustrating, as in the daytime I am positive and don’t feel these anxieties, but at night I find myself waking up crying and having to listen to an audiobook / watch TV to distract myself to get back to sleep. Has anyone experienced this and found an effective way to deal with it / combat?

@nekophoenixI've been having very vivid dreams in general, some fine and some quite dark! I think what you're doing to distract yourself is the best, its the only thing I've found that works for me too

jw97 · 29/12/2025 21:46

Hope everyone’s had/is having a lovely Christmas and festive period!

Anyone got experience of random spotting that has ended up fine? I had a small amount of spotting when wiping tonight. It only happened once and was a pink/light red, haven’t got cramps so far and my 9 week scan last week was all good. Just going into overthinking overdrive as usual šŸ˜… this is the first time I’ve experienced it and it’s my first pregnancy, hoping it’s nothing 😫

ChooseToSmile · 30/12/2025 09:05

Yes, I had some spotting last week at 13weeks. Some slight brown one day, nothing the day after, then third day some pink/light red (which panicked me), then nothing. Went for a scan to get checked and baby is thankfully fine. I have a small subchorionic hematoma which may explain it, or they said it may just be some burst blood vessels, which is quite common (either from
cervix, placenta near cervix or just womb expanding). The key sign to it not being bad was it didn’t continue or progress. In any event, I would always suggest calling EPU to get checked, if anything just for peace of mind. They gave me progesterone pessaries too (up to 16 weeks), which they sometimes do if you have previously miscarried and/or been spotting. I’m sure it’s fine but I totally understand the head spin it causes!

Thank you so much. It hasn’t continued or got worse so hopefully it’s nothing! I’ve contacted the midwife anyway just to be sure!

I’m just a constant bag of nerves at the moment!

Sorry to jump in I've just requested to join the WhatsApp if that's ok @PolarJadeite

My Christmas was different this year first trimester symptoms mixed with awful cold/flu symptoms = not the best, didn't even eat much of my Christmas meal!

Luckily I'm feeling a bit better and finally got dating scan on Friday feeling equal amounts nervous and excited for it šŸ¤žšŸ» anyone else had/have their scan soon?

Chipstickcats · 30/12/2025 16:40

Hey everyone, I’m due 19th July but haven’t had my 12w scan yet so that may change. Ive also just requested to join the group, I was in one for my first baby and found it so helpful and supportive!

Outside9 · 30/12/2025 17:19

Outside9 · 23/12/2025 18:56

Had my 12 week scan today.

My husband stayed home to watch our 1 and 3 year old, and before I left joked "maybe it's twins" when I complained how intense the symptoms have been (big belly, still nauseous etc).

Well guess what. Twins. I cried hysterically. Came home told DH, he cried. No idea how we're going to cope with 4 under 5.

Sorry if this is triggering for anyone. I know I'm fortunate to have a healthy pregnancy, this just wasn't in our plans.

I was given an EDD of 2nd July. However, I have since learn that 37 weeks is considered full term for twin pregnancies. Which means I'll be due 11 June.

Guess I'm out of the July camp!

Pretty similar here - nausea and cold/flu in the household. Hoping Jan is better to us.

My dating scan is Monday and I’m so nervous! I feel like things will be positive but I’ve had bad news before so naturally worry

Fingers crossed everything’s still good! I had a private one at 9 weeks and all good, but still really nervous about my 12 week!

Solidstart · 02/01/2026 21:00

Hi ladies!

Jumping on this thread….im due mid July. I’m 12 weeks along so far, nausea is finally easing I think but I have been sleeping a lot…wondering if the extra sleep over the Christmas break is what has been helping with the nausea?

Only our parents know the news so far, waiting for the NIPT results and the 13 week scan before sharing further but I’m itching to tell so friends! It’s my second pregnancy (last one over a decade ago - so quite an age gap) and I’m now in my 40s so I’m feeling rather anxious about everything.

A lot of my friends have kids already at uni so feels crazy that I’m going back to the start and hoping to find others in the new baby stage 😁

nekophoenix · 03/01/2026 00:21

I am 14 weeks tomorrow and nausea is much improved but still need to eat breakfast quite soon after waking to avoid gross dry retching. I will sometimes just be walking around and this disgusting croak/groan will come from my throat out of nowhere as I wretch - wtaf. I go back to work on Tuesday and if that happens I will struggle to keep my pregnancy quiet!

I’m also finding it more and more difficult to brush my teeth - twice in the last week despite seeking to be gentle and leaning my head down has resulted in immediate and spontaneous vomit! Same with trying to take any tablets - I have had to take any with a flavoured drink or in food as with water again led to immediate projectile. I’m never good with tablets but this was ridiculous. I’m going to need to cancel my next dentist appt as no way will my poor dentist remain safe!

I’d say I vomit now more randomly from sudden feelings of nausea / a hypersensitive gag reflex than I did when my nausea was constant and debilitating for the entire day - it’s bizarre (but still much better than the nausea).
