Yes defo feeling more relaxed now. I’ll have my bloods done every 2 days I think to check for infection, I’m on antibiotics for 10 days and will have weekly scans / checkups and at 22 weeks I will get to speak to the peadeatric doctor to tell them my wishes in regard to the extent I want them to go to if my baby is born as early as 22 weeks. If he stays in until 34 weeks they would be looking to induce then due to risk of infection. I’m feeling really positive though he keeps defying the odds so I think we will be okay! 👌🏼 my toddlers have to stay with their Dad until baby comes though as I obviously can’t lift them anymore. Which is tough but hopefully as hard as it gets for us all. I can see them every day long as someone else is there to help, X

How’s everyone coping with the heat?! I just can’t cool down today, slightly concerned if I’m struggling here in England how I’ll be abroad next week. We fly to Menorca on Tuesday 🥵

A friend bought me a hand fan with a water bottle attached so you spray your face with water while the fan cools it. It’s a lifesaver!

Other than that, not well! I’ve barely drank anything today so my head feels like it’s caving in. My fault obviously, but I can’t seem to eat and drink at the same time because my stomach feels like it’s being stretched to the limit and if I don’t eat I’m sick. I can’t win!

Aw @breakfastdinnerandtea I’m the exact same with food and drink, I think I feel worse because I haven’t had a enough but I still can’t face it or if I do I end up with heartburn even drinking water.

I’ve stocked up on handheld fans to take with me 😆

ive been placed in a bereavement room and had some difficult conversations over the past 24 hours as I have just been bleeding profusely. the medical team will not attempt to resuscitate my baby at this stage if I end up going into labour. please pray for us.
i hope one day i can come back with a positive update eventually but for now ill be off Mumsnet.
congrats to everyone else who’s having a boy btw and I hope all of your pregnancies go well with no complications 🩵💕

Hi everybody I just wanted to let you all know that baby is still in my tummy alive and kicking!! I am 21+5 today. Still bleeding but not as heavily, have had on and off tightenings but I’ve started taking magnesium supplements from home which seemed to stop them last night and helped me sleep. No one knows which way this is going to go and there’s no measurable fluid around baby but he’s still kicking away to let me know he wants to fight so as long as there’s life I will keep fighting for him. Had a scare with my infection markers going up but they went right back down by morning, I’m on bedrest as that’s all I can really do. My baby is a fighter and I won’t give up on him yet! 🩵

My little boy was born alive at 09.05 this morning but passed away some of an hour later, he was 1.15 lb but unfortunately not strong enough to survive 💔

I am so so sorry for your loss @MyZippyLemonBiscuit thinking of you and your family x
