Wow you can definitely start a football team 🤣 did they show you a potty shot?! Yeah my scan is on Saturday so not too long to wait now 😅 glad everything was ok after the bleed, these babies like to worry us!

@Nikkix86 well i noticed something between the baby's legs whilst she was just scanning away so i mentioned it, and and she said she could take a look so i said go on then! and yeah i swear it was a little willy 😆 but at same time she mentioned something about swollen girl? :/ but did say, if she had to say what it was she would say its a boy :/ so if anything now, im going to get confirmation of that on monday! ❤️

im going to say boy 🙈 only as the skull is very similar to my little man’s at his 12 week. This was from the gender scan, hardly any fluid so difficult to make out. I actually doubted she was sure of the gender but at the check up at the hospital I saw his wee willy clear as day 😂 the doctor said “I’m not supposed to say… but he’s not shy is he” 😂😂 xx

Im enjoying all the scan pics with predictions. We aren’t planning to find out the gender.

Im nearly 16 weeks and I think I’ve been feeling some definite flutters especially when I’m laying still.

Just had my 16 week midwife appt and have to say I’ve come away a bit disappointed. Has anyone else felt this way?

It was a different midwife to who I saw at my booking appt. She checked my urine and blood pressure. Also she had to take some blood due to me having a B- blood group so they can test baby from it to determine if I’ll need anti-d and that was about it. She didn’t check baby (I swear I heard the heartbeat at 16 weeks with baby no.1) a quick ask how I was and when I mentioned I’m still having sickness her reply was “are you on tablets” and that was that! When I tried to mention I’ve spoken to the consultant and now have the decision of an elective section or try for a vaginal delivery again (I lost a lot of blood and have a birth injury from baby 1) she didn’t really help much just said “you’ve got a while to think yet” not sure if it’s just me but feeling a bit flat now.

20 week scan is 3 weeks tomorrow but now I’m tempted to have a private one as I just don’t know if all is ok. 😕 maybe I had too high hopes for this appt today but thought I’d get some reassurance.

They don't always listen to baby at 16 weeks as it's still quite hard to find. It's been a mix in the WhatsApp group, some people had it and alot of others didn't. That's a shame you came away deflated 😔 I remember the 16 week appointment being very quick, I guess there isn't much to discuss until later on? When is your next mw appointment?

I've been feeling movements too although not everyday usually in the evenings or I can feel them rolling around 😅

Thanks @Nikkix86I don’t see the community midwife again now until between 26-28 weeks so mid to end August. I have my Glucose test before then and I’ll be seeing the consultant at 28, 32 and 36 weeks and having growth scans then too! So things will ramp up, like a lot of us this bit still seems a drag.. I just want to know everything is ok, I feel a bit left too it, maybe because it’s my second!

I just asked the midwife at my 16 week appointment to please listen to the baby heartbeat. At first she was like we don't do it at this appointment, but I said I still want it and she did it in the end. So basically looks like you need to ask them.

Thanks @lavafieldi did ask but she said it was too early. I guess it depends on your trust. I’m happy you got to hear it. It’s a nice reassurance isn’t it! X

So sorry, haven’t been on here for a while 🙈 had my gender scan at 15+5 (lied about due date as the Wednesday was the only day that suited me and my partner lol)
I’m 18+3 now got another scan today with the doctor to check how the wee man is growing and do the anomaly side of it.
did you find out the gender? Xx

@MyZippyLemonBiscuit well i was thinking of you as since you posted on the last thread, if i remember rightly - was their concerns due to low levels of amniotic fluid? sorry if i have got that wrong 🤦🏻‍♀️ my memory is poor! but i hope yourself and little man is doing ok ❤️ im 16weeks today, and have my gender scan tomorrow at 11:30 😬 pretty certain its a boy though as had to go for a scan at EPAU lastweek due to bleeding and i swear i sor a little willy! 😆 Xx

Yes just back from my scan, the doctors still concerned about the low levels of fluid and echogenic bowel she offered the amniotisis test which I refused. I think they are expecting him to be doing a lot worse than he is, he’s measuring a week ahead ffs! I told her I have faith and he’ll be ok so no need to poke about at already low fluid.

@MyZippyLemonBiscuit i will do hun, and i wouldn't be suprised - i have 4 boys already 😆 & only 1 girl! in exactly that order aswell 😂 had a misscarriage just before christmas aswell before finding out i was pregnant again with this 1.. but in total we have had 4 misscarriages altogether Xx

@SoonMummyToBeOf6 tbh i’m convinced it’s a boy but my husband thinks girl 😂

@xTinkerbell haha thats exactly what my partner thinks as im apparently constantly snapping at him & moody 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂 may have to remind me, but have you got any other children? when is your 20 week scan? will you find out then x
