@Melusina123 this is what these forums are for though, getting everything off your chest so share away.
It does suck it's so crap. I'm so sorry you've had 3 losses. It's understandable to feel what you feel and not be able to be happy yet.

I felt nauseous with one of my losses but I wasn't sick, with my daughter I threw up so that's now a bit of a safe check point for me in my mind. Although I've quite a few friends who have had babies with zero sickness at all or nausea so it varies for sure.

We will get each other through by sharing here ❤️

StarStarTeachMe · 01/01/2025 16:42

Unfortunately I think I'm out... tests not progressing and cramps and bleeding ramping up this afternoon. Wishing you all so much luck with your pregnancies.

Rachae · 02/01/2025 08:29

Hope you're all doing ok and happy new year. @Melusina123 thanks for your comments and I'm sorry to hear it's such an anxious journey. :-( Losses are so hard and really steal the joy.. it's incredible too how many of us experience it. I've never thought the stats were quite right with 1 in 4 as I don't know a woman who hasn't had a loss! Are you on any meds/ been referred anywhere? I take progesterone, clexane, baby aspirin and estrogen.

@Lemonolive09 hope you're feeling a tad better now? X

My wandfos are still progressing but still fairly light. Today is the first day of my missed period and bottom test is from today. FRER testing again tomorrow for the 2 day gap comparison xx

@StarStarTeachMe sorry to hear it, it's such a tough road. Look after yourself.

@Rachae how are you feeling today? I do think that line progression looks good, sometimes the cheapies just don't ever get properly dark? Day of missed period is still so early, i think all these people posting dye stealers at 12 DPO can drive the rest of us mere mortals crazy. 😂 Though of course we'd all love a dye stealer at 12DPO...

I'm under RMC at local hosp and will get weekly scans if I want them and have been offered progesterone and aspirin. I'm of two minds as we know at least the last loss was chromosomal so none of that would have helped, and all my tests were normal. Unfortunately/frustratingly I do believe that probably it has been "bad luck"/age for me and maybe a bit of unfussy uterus (I always get pregnant pretty quickly) so it's feels like it's just about getting the right embryo. But I'll probably accept everything I'm offered just to feel like I'm doing something!

Feeling a bit better today, mostly just taking it one day at a time and trying to concentrate on other things.

How's everyone else going?

camelinastorm · 02/01/2025 11:59

@Melusina123 it's good that they are offering stuff

Hello! Joining September due date 🥹🤗 can’t believe it !!!

Lemonolive09 · 02/01/2025 15:29

@StarStarTeachMe I'm so sorry, it's such a tough journey ❤️

@Rachae feeling much better today thank you! Feeling ever so slightly more positive too, when you feel ill you do feel desperately negative don't you. Your lines definitely look good to me, they're getting darker very steadily! fingers crossed for that FRER tomorrow!

@Melusina123 glad you're feeling a bit better today, I am too. The sunshine is helping! I'm with you, I've never heard anyone describe unfussy uterus but that's exactly what I think it is with me too.

@MyGardenDaisies hello again!! 🥳❤️

@camelinastorm what time of day did you do the test? I would only do first wee of the morning, even if it's at 4am.

This is the reason I'm apprehensive about doing one of these digital weeks ones, im worried it'll say the wrong amount and I'll panic, but then equally I'm tempted, for verification. It's hard isn't it. Its likely a diluted sample or a tiny bit off from the next stage up. I would probably take it apart too, kind of thing I do! How far should you be exactly?

Fashionlover123 · 02/01/2025 15:35

@MyGardenDaisies Me too! I’m now 4+3! Congratulations, how you feeling? I’ve had some cramping, hot flushes, tiredness!

Eliffant · 27/12/2024 20:36

I might be joining 😊 I got a very faint positive line today (my partner isn't convinced by it) and I feel pregnant (by which I mean I've cried at everything from watching ballet to the Vodafone christmas advert). My period is due tomorrow so I'll test again in 3-4 days if my period hasn't arrived. It's usually like clockwork so if it hasn't arrived by then I'll be pretty sure anyway!

I did a test yesterday and got a strong positive 😊Due beginning of September

camelinastorm · 02/01/2025 15:56

@Lemonolive09 I stupidly tested around 11am so third wee of the day so probably threw it out I should be 3 weeks so really hoping it was diluted

susie1984234 · 02/01/2025 16:03

Im 4+4 today, not tested since last week as I find it too anxiety inducing 🤯

Symptoms are a lot stronger than with my MMC in July though, already feeling nauseous and my boobs are extremely delicate.

First scan is 24th Jan so gonna try and plod along until then, I take Progesterone suppositories so there is a chance of another MMC, but going to just try and enjoy the process until then

Melusina123 · 02/01/2025 16:08

Welcome @MyGardenDaisies , @Fashionlover123 @Eliffant & @susie1984234

@camelinastorm those weeks indicators will drive you crazy, I really think they’re a trap! They’re such an imperfect measure of pregnancy progression or success - doctors barely refer to a ‘target’ HCG for a particular week because the level ranges so widely between pregnancies, but then ClearBlue has two
strips of paper and a little computer to read them and they’re acting like they’ve got all the answers…

There are so many factors that can affect how much HCG shows up in your urine at a given moment, let alone how it manifests on the test, let alone whether it actually means anything about whether the pregnancy is going to progress.

Anyway, rant over! Today you are pregnant. :) That’s all any of us can say, really.

MyGardenDaisies · 02/01/2025 16:18

I’m feeling great! about to celebrate with husband! 🥰

@camelinastorm definitely too diluted! As @Melusina123 says above they're too vague anyway, ignore it. I know that's easier said than done.

I'm with you @susie1984234 !

I just rang EPAC to ask a couple questions including whether they'll book me for an early scan and they said no. So I might have to book a private one, need to look into crowdfunding I think 😅

Melusina123 · 02/01/2025 16:32

@Lemonolive09 I had a private scan at Window to the Womb in one of my last pregnancies (before I got on the “all the scans all the time” RMC track at EPAU), it was pretty reasonable - £85 maybe? And I thought they did a fine job as a reassurance scan (everything was fine that time) although I don’t think I’ll ever enjoy a scan so it’s hard for me to wholeheartedly endorse it.

jalapen0 · 02/01/2025 16:39

Hello! Please can I join? I tested positive on 29/12 so still getting my head around this exciting news! All being well, should be due around 6 September.

How’s everyone feeling? So far it’s only my boobs that have gotten a bit bigger and tender, and maybe a few niggling cramps.

Yeah I had one at 16 weeks with them with my daughter, but the EPAC had done one at 7 wks4, after two miscarriages, I was hoping they'd do one again as I'll probably need to book one privately for my anxiety later on 🥴 see how I go I suppose. They did say I could ring another hospital near here where they do recurrent MC scans and just ask.
I know what you mean, the fear is horrendous every time.

@jalapen0 hi, welcome and congratulations!

I'm due on 5th, as far as I know.

Same with the boobs, and cramps, mine have been every day so far but fairly mild. I'm hoping I get morning sickness soon as that's my reassuring symptom in my mind!

jalapen0 · 02/01/2025 16:52

thanks @Lemonolive09 I know what you mean about morning sickness! Hoping if and when it does arrive it’s not completely insane though😂

Rachae · 02/01/2025 18:11

@Melusina123 hey and hey everyone! I'm feeling ok thanks.. just gutted my FRERs didn't arrive and won't until tomorrow night argh.
Popped to tesco this afternoon and couldn't resist the only option.. the dreaded clear blue.
I think today is the day or day before my missed period. Hard to tell as Clue app says my average cycles are 30-32.
Here's the test from this afternoon... hoping the faint line is dilution.

MyGardenDaisies · 02/01/2025 18:13

I’m planning to only do a CB digital in a weeks time to see 2-3 weeks and in another week to see 3+ (5+ week gestation) and then have a heart beat scan at 7 weeks privately, and then NHS at 12 weeks.

Rachae · 02/01/2025 18:22

Hey @MyGardenDaisies one thing id say about those weeks tests is dont worry immediately if the weeks don't progress. In my successful pregnancy, my weeks indicator never progressed from 1-2 no matter how many I used. It stressed me out so much and I got bloods etc and the hcg was totally in line with the further on weeks xx

MyGardenDaisies · 02/01/2025 18:55

@Rachae that is so strange! Good to know as I used them in first pregnancy and got the 2-3 and 3+ when expected.

Lemonolive09 · 02/01/2025 21:07

@@Rachae@Rachae this is brilliant! Sorry it double @ you and wouldn't let me delete 😅

To get such a clear result not first wee is surely very positive!
