Definitely positive

Christine1910 · 26/12/2024 13:21

I got my first first very faint line on Christmas Day, bought a clear blue this morning and it’s still vain, just a little brighter than yesterday

nicolenorris · 26/12/2024 13:24

@Csoa00 please let me know how it goes! X

Oh wow what a present! Praying for great line progression for you. How are you feeling?

Hello! I got my first positive on Christmas eve for baby #2. First baby took two years to conceive, this one will have been at the first attempt, so I am having a minor shock at the speed! (I have other health conditions and we discovered that medication had impacted my fertility). I think I'll be due 3rd September due to short cycles, slightly terrified it becomes an August baby due to my work's mat leave policy being way more generous if my due date is on or after 1st September!

Hiya! Congrats! What dpo were you when you found out? I found out the day before Xmas Eve at 9dpo. This was our first month officially ttc as well, we did not expect it at all but we are over the moon

I was 12 dpo when I tested, my cycles recently have been really short (23/24 days) and ovulation day 11. So it has been a whirlwind! Slightly terrified as that will be when DS will be starting school so a massive change for him within a week. It definitely hasn't sunk in yet!

This is the line progression from 10 dpo (top) to 12 dpo today (bottom). Is getting darker right? 😬🙏

Just came across this thread with my September 2024 baby asleep on my chest and just wanted to say I cannot believe September 2025 babies are coming along already!! Congratulations all, wishing you happy, healthy pregnancies xx

Lao2471 · 27/12/2024 11:43

Hello, can I join please? Tested on 21/12 at 13dpo. First bfp after 18 months TTC and just before starting fertility treatment. I’m over the moon but also absolutely terrified.

Line progression from 13dpo to 16dpo. Fingers crossed for everyone on the thread!

hi all - tentatively joining here! I got my BFP after my 3rd IVF transfer on the 18th, which makes me 14DPO. My tests are looking pretty dark so feeling optimistic! (my last in October turned out to be a chemical).
All going well this would be my first baby. Anyone else in the same boat?
Congratulations all! x

Eliffant · 27/12/2024 20:36

I might be joining 😊 I got a very faint positive line today (my partner isn't convinced by it) and I feel pregnant (by which I mean I've cried at everything from watching ballet to the Vodafone christmas advert). My period is due tomorrow so I'll test again in 3-4 days if my period hasn't arrived. It's usually like clockwork so if it hasn't arrived by then I'll be pretty sure anyway!

nicolenorris · 27/12/2024 20:46

Everyone's line progression looks so great I'm really worried about mine

@nicolenorris I’m so sorry to hear. I went through one in October too. I hope you’re ok ❤️❤️

Lao2471 · 28/12/2024 15:34

@nicolenorris So sorry to hear that.

Rachae · 28/12/2024 20:45

Hey everyone!
I'm very tentatively joining.. got a shadow wandfo line yesterday and it's progressed to more of a v faint line today. I didn't catch when I ovulated but I'm making a guestimate I'm about 12DPO today. So could be a chemical but maybe not!

I've had 7 miscarriages in the past and I'm fortunate to have a miracle baby Austin who is 2.5 xx

Rachae · 28/12/2024 20:46

(I'm CD24 today)

Shamblecakes · 28/12/2024 22:49

Hello! I tested positive on December 20th my natural cycles app says due date 29th august - it’s my first pregnancy and the first real time we tried which was such a shock. I was so prepared for it to take a really long time. Still every time I go for a wee I expect to see my period but am so relieved when I don’t.

We’re both so happy but also definitely quite scared. I keep worrying that anxiety is going to be bad for the baby which I know is a silly thing to do! I have some other health issues and they’ve been slightly overshadowing the happy news the last few days but the joy is still there too. It’s so wild, it doesn’t feel real sometimes. It’s really nice to see these messages from others with similar feelings.

PlanBea · 29/12/2024 18:42

@nicolenorris sorry to see that. Sending baby dust for next cycle x

PlanBea · 29/12/2024 18:47

@Lao2471 that was a similar story to getting my DS (who's now 3!) - our fertility treatment was delayed by COVID and we then got naturally pregnant after 2 years. I spent most of that pregnancy worried something would take it away, but he's here and healthy. I hope it all works for you too!

Lemonolive09 · 29/12/2024 18:54

Hi all, joining tentatively because I'm super anxious. I did an early test on boxing day and got a faint line, followed by a test yesterday (28th) with a bolder line. I've got a 4yo but had two miscarriages before her so I'm anxious for these 12 weeks! I can feel a lot like pulling and pangs more so than I had with her, I'm hoping it's just a subsequent pregnancy thing, also the line wasn't AS bold as it was when tested with my DD, and my boobs not as sore, I'm reading into everything can you tell 😩

Sorry to hear about those CPs, it's a tough time of year anyway if you're TTC!

Very tentatively joining. BFP today as 4 days late making me due early Sept. 40 with a 3.5 and previous late loss so anxious. Due date would be my 3.5yo first day of school which makes me worry too.

The anxiety is so hard isn't it. I'm with you, I'm due around 5th sept though I had my 4yo at 35+5 so I may well have an August baby and another preemie! I keep saying to myself, one day at a time but every pang or pulling sensation I'm immediately anxious again.
We can get each other through it!
